Who can have any doubt, That loving words the world needs? Let your loving words go round the world;
That the world may be an excellent place
As the creator wants it to be.
So scarce, indeed, are real loving words in the world,
Although they are what the world needs most;
How many of them do you utter a day, dear friend?
How many of them do ever cross those lips of yours?
From a loving heart, loving words do come.
If a loving heart, therefore, you possess,
Loving words through your lips will get to the world.
If, instead, a bitter heart you do possess,
Bitter words it will generate and spread in the world,
Since from a bitter heart also, bitter words do come.
And how unfortunate that would be;
For, in a world that so much hurts like ours,
Loving words we so much need everywhere,
To heal the so many wounds that on us Hard words have not stopped to inflict.
