Dear friend, I like you to take a good look at these words:
“If you have a pure heart, and do not think or do evil to others, if evil passes your way, it will not hurt you. It will only bounce on you and roll off like an inflated balloon.”
These are my words. I have said them over and over. Do you think I am right?
I believe that people run into inexplicable trouble like ghastly accidents because their lives are not pure. They have done some harm or evil to another or others.
Of course, I have been reminded many times that bad things do happen to good people.
I usually respond to this by bringing in the wisdom of William Shakespeare who, through Duncan in Macbeth tells Malcom, “There is no art to find the mind’s construction in the face.”
There is a thing called secret sin. Thus a person may look externally pure meanwhile rotten inside.
I hold firmly that everyone is responsible for the evil that befalls them.
Not everyone shares this view., Many people actually get confused when they hear this.
Now, what do you say? Can you throw more light on this issue? Your opinion will definitely count.
