A letter to all generous people

Dear loving friends,

I write to thank you for your generosity.

Thank you for sharing your blessings with those who do not have. Your generosity is doing so much good in the world no matter how small it may be.

It will not surprise me if it has saved the lives of lots of people. The world needs more men and women with generous and compassionate hearts like yours.

There are people everywhere who are perishing in poverty and misery. They have absolutely nothing. Their survival depends on people who are generous like you.

You may not always receive gratitude from those who benefit from your generosity. Some may even be against you and openly attack you. Do not mind it. Continue to be kind. Continue to be generous. You are doing it for the God who has blessed you. May He find a way to reward you!

May He also continue to bless you with his abundance so that you may keep on sharing with those who are less fortunate than you!

With love,

  1. Don’t mind the person who openly attacks you even though you are generous toward them? Really? How? I just read your lion and donkey story and that means the donkey should have not minded that lion about to eat him because the donkey should be generous still and not mind. Nope. I disagree. I wish that you can tell me otherwise though. I however, have come to think that being generous to the ungrateful is useless and a waste of time. Ungrateful is undeserving.

    • I think it is unfair to be ungrateful to those who are generous to us. If I said it rightly, I mean that if some people are ungrateful to those who are generous to them, that should not stop them from being generous to other people. It does not have to be to someone who has shown ingratitude. I will find it hard myself to give to someone who has failed to appreciate the first gift and even goes ahead to attack me or to be rude to me. I agree that the ungrateful is undeserving. You may arm an enemy who will turn around and finish you up once they become powerful. At the same time, the ingratitude of people to us should not make us unkind to others.
