Teachers

What would the world be without teachers? I have great respect for teachers. If you are a teacher (and we all are in one way or another, especially women), here is a poem for you:

TEACHER

Teacher, I thank you!
You’ve taught me many things.
You’ve taught me to read and write.
You’ve taught me to know the world.
You’ve taught me to love others.
You’ve taught me to relate with others.
You’ve taught me to know and love God.
You’ve taught me to work with others.
You’ve taught me to succeed in life.
You’ve taught me to love and to be loved.
You’ve taught me to succeed in marriage.
You’ve taught me many things,indeed.
How can I appreciate you?
Can I ever thank you enough?
Take these words as a sign
Of my gratitude to you.

  1. We should appreciate all the good and wonderful teachers! We need to hold the others accountable and help them find a new profession that doesn’t influence our children in negative ways. I am glad I don’t have young children in school now. I do have grandchildren but they live far away and so I don’t know how they are being influenced. I wonder if good outweighs the bad?

    • Truly, some teachers are not as good as they should be. We need excellent teachers because they are the architects of the world. If they do their work badly, it affects the world for a long time. Thanks for sharing your views on this topic.
