Once I saw a little frail man;
Who by football was so obsessed;
Hardly was there anything else,
That he cared so much about;
From morning till he went to bed,
Football was on his lips;
If he was not talking football,
His eyes were doing the job;
I wondered so much indeed,
How a man could be so obsessed;
As the days rolled by, I thought
His obsession would roll off as well;
To my greatest surprise, it did not;
Instead, stronger each day it became;
And silently, very silently, I told myself;
If someone is so obsessed;
It can be a pretty dangerous thing;
Are you, like him, obsessed by football?
Do well to take your measures not to be.
