The Northern Highlights are rugged, green and the sea water is crystal clear. Applecross, Auchmelvich and Plokton are beauties to visit in this area. For cities, Edinburgh has the medieval Royal Mile, where history seeps from every little street. The World famous ‘Edinburgh Festival’ is held yearly and performers from around the world congregate for this fun festival for a few weeks. Glasgow, on the west Coast usually plays second fiddle to Edinburgh but the Victorian Architecture is outstanding. The city is buzzing with nightlife and has a great music scene. The people of Glasgow are friendly. You can go into a shop in Glasgow and come out knowing the shopkeepers family history and have an invitation for a night out with them! In fact, the people of Scotland are friendly!

Are you proud of your city?
    Yes, Glasgow is wonderful.

There are too many good hotels to single any out. TripAdvisor is your friend.

Are you proud of your people?
    Yes 🙂

As with most places in the world, the churches are very open to visitors from abroad. Schools and community centres also love to learn about other cultures.

Whilst responding to this, a boy started playing the Bagpipes outside my house haha! He had the kilt on and everything. HE was gone by the time I got my camera out.
