There are many ways we can put across our ideas to others. I put mine across to readers on this site mostly in the form of poems.
I am still studying how these poems come across to others. Some people definitely like them, but not everybody; which is normal.
What actually matters to me is the message that I put across.Once I write a poem, and I am convinced that my message can get across to my readers in a pleasant way, I become happy.
My kind of poetry is inspirational poetry. My concern is not to write great poems, but to communicate great messages to help my readers bring out the best in them.
There are a lot of people who prefer prose to poetry to convey their messages to others. I have met some people on the web who write some great prose. You read their works with joy. Of course, the skill to write good prose hardly comes on its own. You have to work hard and sometimes long to gain it; which is worthwhile.
Another way to convey your messages to others is through pictures. Pictures speak a language of their own. Photojournalism is a form of journalism I highly admire.
I shall continue to try different ways of conveying what I have to say to my readers. Variety is good. I could have put this in poetry for but I decided to vary. I hope my readers will appreciate the change.
In which way do you best like to communicate your ideas to others?
