Dr Ngobesing Suh Romanus is a renowned Cameroonian journalist living in Bamenda the capital of the North West Region of Cameroon. The inspiration for his work comes from the beautiful landscape of the grass field Kingdoms.

He is also the backbone and the founder of SIWO. He is still passionate about journalism and his fans around the world.

He published his last post on 9 January if I am not wrong. since then he is missing from here. not responding to emails also. Is there anyone in Cameroon/Bamenda who would be knowing him? He has never gone missing till now and I hope he is in good health.

Can anyone on SIWO locate him and convey our best wishes to him? and tell him that he is being missed by the SIWO family?

I do not follow everyone on SIWO nor do others so can the SIWO members reblog this post so that it reaches…

  1. Dear all,

I think I can explain why. Dr Ngobesing Suh Romanus lives in the English speaking part of Cameroon where currently there is a sit-down strike action by all Cameroonians of English expression. They are striking against the marginalization of the mostly French speaking Government.

The government has been trying to use force to stop the strike action with no success and so recently, they did not only put the entire region under some sort of state of emergency but have equally cut off all internet connectivity from the region and so its practically impossible to get anybody online who is living in that part of the country.

I am very sure that once things get normalize, we will be hearing from him.
