Little Joy & Little Sorrow

The Little Girl Sorrow.
The Little Boy Joy.
Born from the womb Of Mother Nature.
Residing in her heart
Each incomplete without the other.
To experience the pleasure of being with Little Joy
One must meet Little Sorrow first.
Absence of Little Joy is the reason
Little Sorrow wastes into another day.
Little Joy & Little Sorrow
Coming together, playing together
Keeping the equilibrium, help
Embracing the beauty and disregarding the faults
Just as a Rose is found amongst the Thorns.
Nature is the guardian of joy
While Man is the keeper of sorrow.
With Nature playing
The symphonic metaphor today
Riding on the high winds with Little Joy
And o’er the saline waters with the Little Sorrow
Oh, Man!
While sleeping in the fields of Ecstasy
Learn to accept both, Little Joy & Little Sorrow
With open arms without any prejudice towards any.

“Your joy is your sorrow unmasked,” Khalil Gibran from ‘The Prophet’
