What do you do when your car has a puncture? You remove the punctured tyre and put the spare. This means you always travel with a spare tyre. No wise person takes out the car without a spare tyre, especially on a long journey. It may become handy when you least expect it.
This is the same policy to adopt with your plans. Some call it plan B. I call it the achiever’s spare tyre. If the plan does not work, don’t say it has failed. Say it has had a puncture; and then you put on the spare tyre and continue your journey till you reach your destination.
At no time therefore should your journey to success or to great heights come to an end because of a plan-puncture. A spare tyre should be ever ready; ever near.
