My coffee had gotten cold maybe minutes ago and my father had long sat on the chair placed on left corner of the living room, again maybe minutes ago. I was just too lost to notice anything. My memories, they recited their tale on their own accord. I realized something profound on that day, “life is a struggle to find yourself, so don’t ever let anyone judge you. They’re doing the same thing. Inside of ourselves, we are always lost.”
The way my mind was functioning that morning, it definitely felt that something life altering was about to happen in the moments that were to follow. Sometimes life does remain trivial. There is no other reality to it. Not every moment is life altering, not every breath makes you realize something profound. Sometimes we simply exist. Nothing else.
