….nowhere does the Bible promise that all our questions will be answered this side of heaven.
Have you ever looked at life and thought , why…… just why? There’s nothing more to ask of God but, why. The questions are endless.
Why do we grow older, not younger, or lose our sight or maybe hearing? Our knees wear out, our arms hurt, and arthritis contributes to youthfulness that once resided.
But the sun shines beautifully and sets on the sparkling waters. Nature remains connected to heaven as we get sneak peeks of reverence. From 9 to 5, it’s mighty stressful. Sadly, we watch those less capable struggle as life has dealt them blows like a hurricane in their heart. Their frustration is incomprehensible and disruptive. Why??
The seasons change and the foliage falls. The most joyous times are in the dead of winter. I wonder, why?
We pray to our Father and beliefs run deep, proclaiming love to God in heaven. So we follow our own faith. It makes us strong, or so they say, and we abide by the rules of the road. Hopefully, we prevent a collision with karma.
Oh, yes, of course….there’s Capitol Hill. Laws are made, bills passed, all to enforce the Ten Commandments. So why in the world do people act like animals? Why? Wild creatures show more respect than the next generation.
The sun sets in the west, not in the north so why did He create the earth this way?
God restores the sinners’ souls. Why? Is it His love for us and if so, why are we the chosen ones?
Only God knows the answers to our “why” questions!! But during the times when you and I can’t trace God’s hand of purpose, we must trust His heart of love. When we don’t understand why, we must trust Him because God cares for us more than we can possibly know.
It’s important to know that nowhere does the Bible promise that all our questions will be answered this side of heaven.
What “why?” questions will you ask God one day?
