Worry is having faith that the worst will happen. The laws of attraction say that you draw to yourself that which you focus on, but how can we let go of those negative thought patterns?
For me, Emmet Fox’s The Golden Key has proved useful many times. Basically, whatever it is you are worrying about, you imagine yourself handing it to God behind you. Walk forward and focus on what is in front of you. When that worry comes up, remind yourself that it is in God’s hands and don’t look back.
The key is: don’t look back. This gives me a visual focus to redirect my mind away from what is bothering me. I remind myself that it is in God’s hands. This allows me to “Let Go and Let God.”
I can get frozen with fear during uncertain times. I don’t know the answer, but I go forward with absolute faith that it WILL work out. I just have to “stay out of the way” and allow the situation to unfold. Again, the KEY is to not look back.
If you want to learn more about the technique, I encourage you to read the whole The Golden Key. You can get a free copy here. May you be open to the overflowing abundance available in God’s universe.
