WHY AM I A MINIMALIST ?

https://satyajivana.com/2018/04/15/why-am-i-a-minimalist/

Yours foolie hasn’t taken minimalism quite as far as has this author — however, all of her belongings fit neatly, along with her sleeping space and room in which to function comfortably, in a 10 X 10′ tent, and can be moved across town easily by handcart and city bus.

A poet is the strangest sort of soul
You in this life may e'er expect to meet
More broken even while more truly whole,
Innocently intending well, more sweet

Than any but a five year old should be
Unfit to meet a callused world's demand
Or to behave aught expediently
All grace in flight; an albatross on land

Do not the all too common error make
Do not fall into the too easy trap
Avoid the fatal egoic mistake
Imagining that poet be a sap

Powerful spirits classic and antique
Give voice when poets ope their mouths to speak

  1. What a brilliant post!

Suze and l started downsizing under the minimalism umbrella last year. identifying and recognising that all the clutter we had we simply didn’t need. I was never that big on lots of clutter, but did have too many books, so donated those to a library, charity and sales.

    Excellent post.
