Husband and wife sit up!

Poor woman!
I see how you sweat
In the hands
Of your husband.
Too bad;
But take heart;
You are not alone;
Many are like you
Something must be done;
Thingds can’t continue
Like this;
But what shall we do?
Who has an idea?

Poor man!
I see how you sweat
In the hands
Of your wife;
Too bad;
But take heart;
You are not alone;
Many are like you
And something must be done;
Things can’t continue
Like this;
It can’t go;
But what shall we do?
Who has an idea?

Husband and wife;
Sit up!
What are you doing
To each other?
Why are you giving
Heat to each other?
Why make marriage
A hell instead of
A heaven?
Examine your ways;
And change
For the better;
That is my advice
And prayer for you.

    • You say it so well. Let me add selflessness. Or better still, putting the interest of your spouse ahead of yours. I reblogged a beautiful post by Laleh Chini – Voice from Iran. The title is True meaning offer love. It touched me so much and I think that is what husband and wife should be doing to each other.

  1. If you truly love her nothing can create an impasse.On Christ the solid Rock i/we stand all other ground is sinking sand.

  2. Marriage is a constitution all about adjustment.. earlier days man and women used to adjust, man knew that he has to run the house by working and woman to run the house by taking care of it..

    But in today’s generation, the things have changed.. and no one is ready to adjust and walk..

  3. The love of husband and wife; the bible compares to that of Christ and his church: with Christ as the husband and head of his bride and wife, the church. What do we make from that?
    Just by looking at the relation of God and his church from the time of Noah till the time of Jesus and beyond to our modern epoc, we’ll see that this relationship had never been fully milk and honey. It been filled with roses; but note roses without thorns. This is to tell us that for love to be truely true and pure, it must entail some element of sacrifice on the part of both parties: particularly on the part of the man; as he is the supposed representative of Christ and the head: the one to lead.
    When we choose to do anything other the purpose for which we were fashioned, we do not attained our objective and secondly, we damage our self just as trying to use a pencil to open a can of sardines. 1st we damage the pencil and secondly, we do not succeed in opening the can.
    Marriage only works best when man seeks to do it the way its author originally originated it to be: a gleems of our heavenly love towards our eternal father; a love that was not originally intended to be completely fulfilling here on earth, but to lead us back to God.
    Therefore let no thunk that he or she would ever find perfect love, life, happiness and truth hear on earth. Our hearts were made for God and they would never rest in till they rest in Him.
    SHALOM.
