The good old days (quote)

“It is not uncommon for older people to knock their chests and eulogize the exploits of their younger days, which they nostalgically call ‘the good old days’, comparatively downgrading the brilliance of the present generation.

I couldn’t disagree more with this view. What this generation is doing is incomparable. I hold unequivocally that every new generation is, in many ways, better than the ones before it.”
