Stop blaming others

Look up and always
Up;
If you are always
Talking
Of your problems,
And saying how life
Is hard for you,
Complaining
About others;
And accusing them
Of being the cause
Of your problems,
People will not
Very much
Appreciate you;
There is too much
Looking down;
Too much complaining
Around;
Too many people
Complain;
Accusing others of
Being the cause of
Their troubles;
Blaming them for
Standing
On their way;
Pointing fingers;
Is that really true?
Do not join
The chorus;
Take responsibility
For your life;
And stop
Blaming others
For your failures;
Stop looking for
The fault
Somewhere else;
Make sure you are
Doing
What you should do;
And if you do
The right thing
And do not succeed,
Keep trying;
Eventually, you will
Succeed.

    Blaming others for our shortcomings has been around since the beginning of mankind’s existence. When man disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden and fell from His divine presence, the blame-game was set in full motion. Adam blamed Eve, Eve blamed the serpent, and the serpent was sadly left holding the bag because there was no one left for him to blame. The truth is that we all are responsible for our own actions, our own decisions, and our own choices. God created us as free moral beings with the right to choose. Even God doesn’t overstep our right to choose. Yes, there are extenuating circumstances in life; however, in most of the situations we face, we let things and people disturb our joy, our peace, and our hope. No one can do more to us than we allow them to do, and no one can take from us more than we are willing to give them. We all must stand up and take responsibility for our actions and be accountable for the actions we chose to take. Let’s unlock the chains of blame, so we can move forward to our purposed destiny!!!
