To Carry home a trophy

If you want to carry home
A trophy,
Don’t relent your effort;
You must keep going;
If you relent for a minute,
You will be over taken;
You have no choice
But to keep going till
You cross the winning line;
And if, on your way,
An obstacle you find,
Clear it off and keep going;
You only stop
At the winning point.
Where your trophy,
You must claim.
Do you have the stamina
To keep going?
When the going is hard?
Then you keep going;
And do not allow distraction.

    Feeling this right now.

    It is easy to continue when the way is easy

    Far harder when there are obstacles

    But at the end of the path, the latter way feels more satisfying to complete…
