  • Fly Ranch is home to dozens of naturally occurring hot springs, some can reach a surface temperature of up to 219 degrees Fahrenheit and 286 degrees F below the surface.
  • The Fly Geyser is not a naturally occurring hot spring; it is an artesian well, a well drilled in 1964 for geothermal energy. 
  • The different colors of Fly Geyser result from different minerals deposits. Sulphur creates the mustard yellow color, iron creates the red and the green color is from algae.
