February budget 2019 How am I doing? BUDGET SERIES!
Hi everyone I hope you are well wherever you are in the world..
SO after watching so many budgeting videos over on YOU TUBE over these last few weeks! It has given me an incentive to document EACH MONTH how my budgeting is going! AND for that I thought it would be really good that at some point within every month I do give you an update with what my strategies are within budgeting ETC!
(Even though I am a teenager/adult and at the moment don’t have any OUTGOINGS!)
So to be very honest over the last few months I have changed my mind numerous amounts of times of whether I should do budgeting or not just because then in theory I will have less money a month! But now that is not how I see it because BUDGETING is not about cut backs it is about priorities! So yeah! But now only just the other day my mum persuaded me to budget my MONEY that I do get from my job! I love my job! Because I do realize that when I am older I really would of benefited from budgeting at such a young age! SO that is what I am doing. But to be fair since I have had a part time job my budget as such as always been £50 because like I have said in previous blogs I have never do spend a lot of money even on clothes I don’t I just go to PRIMARK. I am just a humble and polite young lady!
But regarding my BUDGETING I have a budget of £50 a month which is £12.50 A WEEK! But at the moment I am only focused on the BUDGET regarding the MONTH! But when I do get a full time job I will have a budget of £50 a week which is £200 a month yes!
The BUDGET of £50 a month (for the moment) is for ANYTHING I WANT! AND all the rest of the money will be going into my savings. But regarding when I have a full time job I will have to PAY FOR:
KEEP FOR MY MUM:£100
But it all does depend on the type of wage that I was to get a month! I had a look at what I could potentially get if I was to do an apprenticeship VS going straight into a job within health and social care!
APPRENTICESHIP:£800 A MONTH
STRAIGHT INTO A JOB:£1000 A MONTH
Having £800 a month would be so nice to bring home. Because it would be more money than I have ever had BUT I would have less money to put into my SAVINGS! I would have £443 to put into my savings each month!
But having £1000 would be even better because I would have £643
*BOTH OF THESE CALCULATIONS DO NOT CALCULATE THE COST OF DRIVING LESSONS! OOPS!*
