Here’s where our precious time should be spent, to avoid depression.

A dream, is the contemplation of the possibility to do something. – Robert Schuler

How many minutes do you spend everyday not working or even doing stuff related to your dream?. Few right? But hey, wait!.  May be you don’t understand that those minutes/hours when summed up as a whole, may mean a lot. According to SOPHINIK® MentorLabs, 67% of employees spend only 1 hour a day focused on what truly fulfills them. And this is mostly at night/owl-mornings. Most of people’s time is spent on the less important things. As the famous self-help hashtag goes, #PutFirstThingsFirst. Surprisingly most of us, find ourselves to be doing the opposite.

I happened to experience what I’m writing today in my college years. With lots of class works, assignments and tests nearly all my time was eaten up doing things (frankly speaking) I never enjoyed. This went on till I bounced on a Fearless Motivation video that helped me analyze my priorities very definitely.

Spending time with the imaginations, inaudible sounds and grotesque pictures in our minds is a key fundamental for living a life that makes an impact. Through this you’ll set effective goals and plans with actionable steps. Ultimately you’ll feel natural fulfilment in your every days, even if life gets tough. There’s no greater satisfaction in life than seating alone, in a room where the buzz of the world is shut out. It’s you, your thoughts, your journal and your pen – for 30 minutes to 90 minutes this is time well spent.

Spending time with your dream doesn’t mean laying up fake visions of the future (this will only lead you to worry and anxiety). As Tonny Robbins once said: “A dream without a plan is just a wish”. There’s a significant population who dream while in real sense they’re wishing… Ferrari, Vegas, Yatch supreme… That’s very wrong. You should set up the plan(s) to your dream and work on them each day without excuses of lacking time.

Final Words

If you’re not spending considerable amount of time doing anything about your dreams, chances are you’re wasting pathetic time elsewhere with less meaning to you.

To others, spending time with your dream may mean going against cultural norms and family principles. Critics will rise, haters will troll around all you do and so much negative references to you.

Haters gonna hate hate. Heartbreakers gonna break break. But I’m just gonna shake, shake, shake; shake it off shake it off. – Taylor Swift

Sometimes it’ll mean dropping a course/job/career path. Do not fear going in 100% that’s what happens to all who choose a different path of life. The very few who travel the road not taken. Trust me, not everything will go right, what is guaranteed when you choose this path is eternal soul fulfilment, which money or position never can bring.

I urge you to nurture your dreams, for out of them will flow the riches of life.

Where Do You Find Happiness?

A lot of our unhappiness comes from the feeling of not belonging. But even when we’re accepted, we don’t necessarily belong. True happiness has to come from outside of the desire to belong.

There is happiness in silence and solitude. There is happiness in being thankful for what you have. There is happiness in relationship with God. This isn’t always easy to see. And for those who aren’t used to it, it’s not easy to understand.

If you’re enjoying this article so far. Take a moment to visit Let me know in the comments, what you gained from the site.

Welcome back…

Most of our happiness comes from within. This is especially true after our material needs have been met. If you have everything you need but you’re still unhappy, the unhappiness is likely from a lack of appreciation for what you have and for what’s available to you.

This lack of appreciation comes mainly from a lack of recognition. Most of the time we don’t recognize how fortune we are, because we’re so used to having everything we need.

Learn to appreciate what you have. Learn to live with less and still be happy. And follow your heart. Not your emotions, but what you know in your heart of hearts is the right thing for you.

Tough Times Never Last But…(BOOK SUMMARY).

This post originally appeared on EmpowerSERIES®, Global.

Tough people rise

As mentioned everywhere, this series is all about books, speeches, and articles. (including videos).

It’s therefore my pleasure to present you one of my favourite self-improvement book by, a bestselling author…ROBERT H. SCHULLER. With his book; “Tough Times, never last But Tough people Do”.

Though I completed the books some months ago, sharing it to personnel like you, is of great importance. Please Note that this is a series of lessons I pick from the book, and present them to you twice every week. Today’s episode is about Possibility thinking. If you’ve never heard of it, this post will make you raise your standard of living.

As defined by Robert Schuller, in the book he says:

” possibility thinking, is the management of ideas”

You may ask, “how do we manage ideas?”. We manage ideas when, we minimize waste and maximize development of our inner latent abilities. Or simply put,

Its the separating of negative thoughts from positive thought.

A possibility thinker has ability to make an option out of an idea. Has strength to hold undeveloped for good positive purpose.

So if there are Possibility thinkers, Impossibility thinkers must exist to tip the balance. ” Impossibility thinkers”, can be identified as the people who look for reasons why it can’t be done. They often time, abort ideas and some even forget the ideas that could change their lives. Most complainers, gossips you name it!, fall under impossibility thinkers group. They surrender the force that select their dreams, sets their goals and influences their destiny and endeavor to success.

Among the many things Impossibility thinkers, allow to control their life(give leadership to), include any of the following:

  • FACES:- society, environment and people around them. They fail to act upon an idea because they fear others judgement over them.
  • LIES:- Beliefs from the past, that can not fit into their lives. They are lies, they only become truths when tested by individual. They so much believe in the facts, which they even can’t research on their own.
  • LIMITS:- Impossibility thinkers believe they can’t fly. They use limits as complaints reason, instead of using their inner ability into overcoming that limit. For in life “there are no limitations, its the ones you set in your mind that stop you”
  • OTHERS ARE:- frustrations, fantasies, fears, fatigue, faults, facts, fates, forecasts, foes, experiences etc. (Tip: try searching for those keywords through the menu).
  • Attitude is more important than facts”
Never through away an idea, just because it’s impossible. Give it a chance and DO IT NOW”- Robert H. Sculler

Are you, a impossibility thinker?, may be not. Until you do these 10 things. Schuller in his book, has named them as ” the 10 Commandments of POSSIBILITY THINKING “

  1. Never reject a possibility because you see something wrong with it.
  2. Never reject a possibility because you won’t get credit. Our decisions must never be based on self(ego) needs, but on human needs that transcend our own desires.
  3. Never reject an idea because it’s impossible.
  4. Never reject an idea because your mind is already made-up.
  5. Never reject an idea because it’s illegal. You can change the laws; as Schuller has narrated in the book.
  6. Never reject an idea because you don’t have money, power and time to do it.
  7. Never reject an idea because it may create conflicts.
  8. Never reject an idea because it doesn’t fit into your lifestyle or beliefs. Here Schuller uses “your way of doing things”. Change your ways to make that idea a reality.
  9. Never reject an idea because it might fail. ” every time you fail, fail better”.
  10. Never reject an idea because it’s sure to succeed. That you assume someone else will just do it, hell NO. Just Do It.

Possibility thinking is all about being able to master every idea coming through our mind and heart. Then working fully committed with consistency, to making that idea a reality. An idea can be anything from how to study, business idea, new innovation and so forth. You are #onMISSION, and being a possibility thinker is what can get you started in improving your economic, spiritual and intellectual standard!!

Thank you:) so much for reading, stay tuned for EP:02. I’ll be reading your comments to see if any needs a copy of this book and what you learnt the most from this article 👋.

Second Chances

Life doesn’t always offer us second chances, but often it does. Don’t assume that you’re done just because you’ve made a mistake. Ask yourself where you can go from here.

If we dwell on what could have been, we’ll fail to see the potential opportunities that remain in front of us. We don’t yet know what opportunities will come our way.

We tend to give more significance to the negative things that happen, than we do to the positive things that happen. Combine that with a media which also focuses on the negative, and you end up with a lot of people locked into a negative worldview. And a negative impression of what the future holds.

What choice do we have, but to focus on the good? Focusing on the bad makes everything seem bad. Don’t stay stuck in what could have been. Move forward toward what can be.

How To Make Yourself More Valuable

This post originally appeared on

Learn new things. Things that interest you.

Seek answers to your deepest questions. Follow the rabbit holes and see where they lead.

Do things that are important to you.

Do things that bring out the best in you.

Spend time in silence and solitude. Get to know yourself.

Confront your demons and find refuge in prayer.

Invest your time wisely in these ways and you’ll be a better you. You’ll be a better you for you, and for others. Be valued because of who you are and the intangibles you have to offer, instead of being valued merely for your labor or your obedience.

Bob Marley’s arguably best QUOTE to those of you who have ever fallen in love.

Hi SIWO, I don’t usually post this type of content. But I thought it useful to share with everyone hear the quote that transformed my marital life.

Hope you enjoy, let me know your thoughts in the comments section.

Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.”

Doing these little things will help you stay focused 24/7.

Eat less – try intermittent fasting

Drink more water – finish the glass of room temperature water left on your nightstand,

First thing when you wake up
Smile – it’s infectious.

Be first – jump into the conversation in the kitchen at lunch today, don’t hold back, say hi to the person walking by you in the hallway

Read less “news” – more longform

Listen to more music -it can help focus and productivity

Finish a lot of little things – making your bed when you get out of it, put your dishes directly into the dishwasher, don’t wait for your weekly status meeting to get an immediate answer if it’s going to take a minute to walk. and talk to a colleagues office

Remain present, in the task at hand and on the things that matter

Give yourself time to think

Remain curious

Stop multi-tasking – do one thing.

Stand up straight

Move – walk around the building when you get up to use the restroom

Stretch – everyday, feel the muscles in your body

Empathize – care for others, because they are human

Remember and forget

Express yourself

Find the joy

Focus, as we understand it is a difficult thing to quantify. You can however, put a number on your revenue, hours spent or saved on a project, and quality of work – have you ever graded yourself on a piece of work done, was it a C or a B+?

Most importantly, you cannot quantify the sense of accomplishment and genuine fulfillment in your life, when you are able to get back to basics, remove distractions and implement tactics and strategies into action that will change your day today.

Simplify your life and improve the quality of your work, quantity of work, and depth of concentration, thought and mission filled with meaning.

Stop comparing yourself to others and do this instead.

It’s been said that the greatest disease affecting humanity is that feeling of “I am not enough”.

The feeling of I am not enough can only exist by comparing yourself to another and living your life by expectations that aren’t your own.

Comparison is the thief of joy. – Theodore Roosevelt

If you want to use a great person to measure where you are in life and where you can be, sure, there’s not a lot wrong with that. But don’t be attached to the result.

The only result you should be attached to, is the result of you being better than you were yesterday, last week, last month, 1 year ago.

Set your own goals based on what you want to achieve, not what the next door neighbor has, or the need to outdo a friend or family member.

Everyone is different and everyone can WIN!

You will never win if you have your eyes on another person.

You win your race by focusing on your own finish line.

You win in life by being happy for others winning their race, and you giving your heart and soul to win your own race

It’s you vs you. The battle is won or lost in your own mind.

Comparing yourself to another is an insult to who YOU ARE.
It’s an insult to who you’re going to be.

You are better than that.
You are UNIQUE – and that will ALWAYS be your greatest power, that will always be what separates you from the rest.

So be YOU. Focus on YOU. Focus on growing you. Developing you. Mastering our strengths. WINNING YOUR OWN RACE.

If others win their race, great. WE ARE ALL HERE TO WIN! And the moment you support others, support will come back to you.

Don’t go out to prove them wrong.
Get out there and prove yourself right!
