Sacrifice is the mother of everything.

Without sacrifice, you can’t get what you want in your life.

Your success always demands great sacrifice from you.

Are you ready for that?

Ask yourself.

Kuch Khwaish adhuri si…by #VirtualSiyahi

Dil kehta hai thoda thehar ja

Ek do kadam ka chalna bhi jo ab fasla sa lagta hai

Roshan hokar bhi sab na jane kyu dhua dhua sa lagta hai…

Ranjisho aur shikvo ke kisse to naye purane bikhre zamane ho gaye

milne milane ke kisse bhi ab sadiyo purane ho gaye

ab to mulaqat hoti bhi hai to bas us lamhe mein…..

Thought of the day….

Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.

एक बार जब हम खुद पर विश्वास करते हैं, तो हम जिज्ञासा, आश्चर्य, सहज आनंद या किसी भी अनुभव को जोखिम में डाल सकते हैं जो मानव आत्मा को प्रकट करता है।।

Why people actually like your blogs (definitely clickbait)

Everyone in the world likes some motivation and encouragement. And as for ‘e-writing’, likes are crucial for getting you going.

You know young blood, blogging and, writing in general is pretty hard. Really. And for an extremely lazy oaf like me, it’s like the world is constantly elbowing you with all it’s might. For the last 3 weeks I was overwhelmed with all the likes and comments that my blog got in ‘Success Inspirers’ World’ (they’ve changed their site design and its pretty slick).

So after this ‘incident’ (you gotta keep it casual, stop crying goddammit), I was really out of ideas for writing a good blog. AGAIN. I know that I say that all the time, but now I really do mean it. I started to write like 3 poems, but I couldn’t finish them. This is the stage of something that I like to call ‘Boy was I wrong about starting this.’

But with a brave heart and few youtube videos, I pulled myself together to write something. And the end result was, as you guessed, me searching books that I would wanna read. Still no progress. So, I started to ask the people I knew, about ideas to write about. Still no convincing idea. So, I asked my friend Arvind, (he is a goddang genius) and he listed some ideas that he liked. I wasn’t sure about it though. So, I didn’t write a blog about the ideas that he listed. But half an hour before, I was ranting about how I was feeling about not having an idea to write about. Then suddenly, he said, ‘Why can’t you write about this- this feeling?’ And you should have seen my face then, it was just like a kid who opened a present.

BUT, it could just have been put up in 2 words: Goddang painful. So, I was thinking of some other idea that could have this ‘feeling’ in it. And I started to read my older blogs. Then I quickly saw the likes I got from the poem ‘The power of music’. Then I got it.

I wanted to just give some ‘advice’. You might be wondering , ’Why do people like only like 1 of my blog and not notice the others?’ and why likes are just illusions that trick you into writing blogs just for them. The answer lies below.

They don’t give a crap about your content, they just do it for followers. UwU.

Just a quick update

I am still on my hiatus from writing through Thanksgiving here in the U.S. I plan to pick back up after this week. I am also happy to announce some changes to what I am doing.

First, I will be writing one fiction story a week. These stories may be longer than I have written in the past. However, the reason I’m going down to one story a week is to accommodate the work of my second book in the Berserker series. In addition, I am starting work on another book by Lucius McCray.

The second book in the Berserker Series is due to come out May 2019. Lucius’ book will have a publishing date sometime in the first quarter of 2019.

In addition, I am starting a weekly vlog called “The Berserker Life.” It will be a live stream. I will be covering topics that range from writing fiction, self-publishing to how to be an author if you are currently too ill to work a normal job.

For those who celebrate it, have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Work, work, work

Sorry I missed yesterday. I did not do a recreational walk. But there is good reason.

I now work at a Hotel as Housekeeper. I have to be there at 8 am. With Autumn and Winter coming on sunrise isn’t until 6:30ish. While I get home between 2 pm and 5 pm I am A) Sore and tired B) Have other things to do and C) Soon sunset will be too early to walk after work.

This does not mean I am giving up my daily walks. I will still walk on my days off and on the treadmill. Though pictures of my time/distance will not be as interesting.

Right now though is still a physical adjustment to the work. I ran my walking app only during my shift yesterday, it registered almost 6 miles of walking. My hours yesterday were 8 am to 2:30 pm. The app does not measure all the bending, lifting, stretching and other physcial movement I do.

I have done Housekeeping before. I have been a server. When I worked food service at Target I not only walked but lifted frozen boxes of breadsticks among other things.

I have worked office jobs as well. What I have learned is I need to work the physically demanding jobs. I feel better overall when I do.

Got off subject a bit there. Point of this rambling is I will try and post pictures of daily walks as often as possible…they may be futher apart or not as interesting.

Walking Music

Not sure if I am headed outside to walk today. Might be a treadmill day.

Either way I wanted to share what is on my walking play list.

“Electric Daisy” Lindsey Stirling

“Elements” Lindsey Stirling

“Shadows” Lindsey Stirling

“Shatter Me” Lindsey Stirling

Yes, I like Lindsey Stirling.

“Rx” Theory of A Deadman This would be one of my ironic choices.

“Closing Time” Semisonic This would be the other.

“Believer” Imagine Dragons

“Rise” Katy Perry

“My Favorite Game” Cardigans

“Start A War” Klergy

“Leader of Men” Nickleback

There you have it. If you thing this list is a bit eclectic you should know I have one big YouTube play list with over 300 songs on it. I have other list which include but are not limited to: 30’s Swing/Big Band, K-Pop, Techno and Classical.

My favorite artists include: Nirvana, Frank Sinatra, Queen, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Garth Brookes, Lindsey Stirling, Katy Perry. Big Bang (who I saw in concert), Guns N’ Roses, Baby Metal (who I also saw in concert), Ozzy Osbourne (my first concert-OzFest) and Mozart, Vivaldi and Gershwin.

Some of my favorite songs include, New York, New York, Come As You Are, Gimme Chocolate, No More Tears, Low Places, Rhapsody in Blue, Fat Bottomed Girls and Bicycle Race, and Four Seasons.

Even if I don’t post pictures today I hope I inspire some of you to expand your musical comfort zone.
