Criticism.

Lately I’ve been searching for new styles in which to write my posts. I essentially get an idea, scrap it and then try out a few more. The cycle goes on and on for a while. When I do eventually have a post up, I wonder whether it’s interesting or not and, that too is a very tumultuous field to navigate. It would be great to receive some feedback from you, the army of amazing writers. It would be great to have your insights too. Here is one of my latest posts where I enter the realm of sauciness. ūüėÉ

Let the rain wash away the evidence.

It had been raining for 5 hours straight, the streets were flooded, the buses were late, the trains were held up. Everyone was tired and hoping to get home as soon as possible. Teresa was one of the few who was actually enjoying the rain. She loved to feel the drops of water on her face and she loved the way the plants seemed so green. Today was no different, her college had ended and she happily skipped along the road letting the rain wash over her. Her friend Tommy, wasn’t joining in her pleasure, he seemed morose and silent. Teresa looked at him questioningly.

Young at Heart…Prompt

Beauty surrounds us

And comes from

       Places we never

        Could suspect

             Might it be

               A personality

                 Of someone, we

                 Only have just met?

                     Or perhaps some

                      Vibrant colored blooms

                         Planted in

                         An imaginative place?

                             It matters not

                              Where it’s found.

Compliments of K’s daughter¬†

              It’s that

                              Feeling of

                                              Childlike exuberance

                                                  Of an unexpected

                                                  Discovery, A

                                         Warm embrace

                                          Like explosion

                                          That awakens

                                   And trickles

                                 to our  Soul

                         If we are

                        Young enough

                At heart to

                Be open

        To Such

A Moment.

When Something makes me feel young at heart, it helps whisk me away from all the realities and the problems in the world. If only for a minute. It allows me to dream. To let my mind soar to a different place. I reconnect with me, which allows me to center. It is at that time that I can come back, refreshed and help others without anything holding me back. For me, it is a type of meditation.

What makes you feel Young at Heart?

What would You write about if given the prompt

¬†“Young at Heart”?

Kind Regards and Sunshine Abounds – K

Never regret doing it

We only regret what we have not done because ¬†we didn’t try to do it and henceforth, we would never know the outcome of what it would have been or how it felt like.

From the mistakes we make/made, we come to know our close ones, those who don’t really care and those we really don’t care about, those we will always care for and those who will always be there for us.

Today I can say I’m bold because I’m opening myself to the outside world, not being scared of being judged or maybe regretting why I didn’t take this opportunity. I will take the risk, overcome the struggles and come out victorious. May you all get a chance to grab your opportunities and never regret doing it.
