“Slog till the end will take you to your destiny.” -Unknown
For today’s inspiration, I want to share how you can slog and be successful in whatever you do. Slogging can difficult and challenging when you are wanting something to happen quickly or sooner than expected. It is important to know slogging can bring forth learning, repetition, and step-by-step processes aimed to help you become successful.
Remember that slogging can help you learn how to do things the right way and succeed like the ant did versus the grasshopper.

“Perplexity is the beginning of knowledge.” -Khalil Gilbran
For today’s inspiration, I want to share how you can conquer the perplexed people and things in your life. When you do become perplexed, it can be a moment that could leave you lost, confused, and unsure about how to comprehend and understand what you have seen or heard. Whenever you are perplexed, use this as an opportunity for you to gain knowledge and understanding so that turn whatever is perplexed into someone or something simplified.
Remember that for every person or thing that is perplexed, there are questions and answers; if you take the time to ask questions, you will eventually find the answers.
How can you conquer the perplexed?

Tell me..what day is it today? Oh. That’s right! Wednesday!
AND…Wednesday = our first “Wednesday Smile” post to get you through that long and trying week of yours. These are meant to be uplifting posts, rejoicing in others’ (including our own) happiness, community betterment, and all things good.
First, I love this idea! I eagerly look forward to seeing the Wednesday Smiles posts. I love seeing happy stories when the news media is full of doom, gloom, and sadness!
Second, here’s a few happy things I wanted to share:
1. I received a significant raise at work a few months ago, and it’s already made a huge difference! It boosted my confidence, my work ethic, and has also helped build up my bank account!
2. I just completed my summer semester class – Legal Research. I’m only two classes away from earning my Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies. After a tough, challenging eight weeks, I learned today that I received a 99.75 A in the class! Woohoo! I’m super happy for the small break in between summer and fall semesters. I’m excited to take Trial Prep & Discovery in the fall!
4. My husband and I bought our first home almost two months ago. Having been diagnosed with anxiety last year, this was a big stress for me, since we got married last November and were living in my in-laws home for several months. It’s a wonderful work in progress!
That’s it, for this week! Thank you so much.
Laura Beth, thanks again for coming forward with your entry! It’s so lovely to see all the accomplishments you’ve had and I think it this will show others that there is no need to be shy in coming forward. We can share in the joy and positivity that life brings our way (together)!
Again, if you’d like to be featured in future “Wednesday Smile” posts, email your stories and images (JPG format) to firstname.lastname@example.org
It had been raining for 5 hours straight, the streets were flooded, the buses were late, the trains were held up. Everyone was tired and hoping to get home as soon as possible. Teresa was one of the few who was actually enjoying the rain. She loved to feel the drops of water on her face and she loved the way the plants seemed so green. Today was no different, her college had ended and she happily skipped along the road letting the rain wash over her. Her friend Tommy, wasn’t joining in her pleasure, he seemed morose and silent. Teresa looked at him questioningly. Continue reading →
Says a young one to me:
“Sir, I feel like giving up more times than I feel like keeping on. To give up when the going is hard is easy. To keep on when the going is hard is hard. Shouldn’t I go in for what is easy, instead of bothering myself with what is hard?”
