Do you worry about how to stop worrying ?

Do you worry about how to stop worrying ?

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
Matthew 6:25-34

I am not here not to give the million reasons why we worry, I am here to stress the point that we worry forever.

Worry is the main cause of worry.

We worry because we think a lot.

We think a lot because we imagine a lot.

We imagine a lot because we think a lot.

So the vicious cycle formed. And there in no stop to it.

Is it because we lack faith in ourselves ? I don’t know.

Cambridge Dictionary defines worry as

“To think about problems or unpleasant things that might happen in a way that makes you feel unhappy and frightened”.

I can tell the  three broad reasons why we worry.

1.We worry because we foresee our unknown future with millions of possibilities, majority with negative thoughts.

2. We worry because of our assumptions.

3. We worry about the past that happened,we worry about the present in real-time happenings and we worry about future because of uncertainty.

My point here is it is impossible to stop worrying……… however much saints bombard you with saintly advice regarding dos and don’ts.

Again I reiterate ” Life without worry is not possible” Remember you worry till the end of your life.I am brutally frank .In other words……

If you worry …you are breathing.

If you are not worrying …you are dead.

So don’t make any attempts to stop worrying otherwise  you are the loser at every attempt.

Don’t worry ,be happy ……….. is just not practical !!

The Trees Sway

My life is full of memories, and like the seasons, they fall short in the shadows of the branches. The earliest was being the curse of my Mom’s divorce. Sibling rivalry recounts many quarrels. Callused friends also couldn’t compromise, and we parted company before psychological differences made life not worth living. But as Jesus taught, we are under obligation to forgive others because refusing to forgive is a sin. God, alone, seeks justice.

For many, we leave adolescence and venture into the unknown as young adults with damaged hearts of childhood memoirs. We try to stay out of the direct sunlight and seek a place where the branches sway with a refreshing breeze of freedom. But even so, life is incomplete… harmonies are out of tone. We live with skeletons in the closet. The ladders of success look so inviting, but we’re afraid of heights. Our heart’s gear may be wounded if we take a jump. Even the love we search for away from home fails from the bitterness in our soul. Lord, can you guide me through the insecurities of life? Will you fill the empty spot scorned by storms and the scorching sun? Help me find a place where the trees sway in tempered peace.

As life moves on, sorrows mourn, and forgiveness becomes good medicine for the broken heart. Pain is re-trained by a willingness to release the offender from the wrong, and it sets us free. But, those who live in remorse of the past will become sick, infected with a virus called resentment. Under the trees sway, God will wait for their heart to forgive so His gentle wind can renew their hope once more.

Forgiveness is the positive connection linking the past to the present. Everyone is at fault of holding grudges, yet only God shall judge the sinners. His love, which carries us through life, generates through our faith. When faith runs out, we fill our body (God’s temple) with hatred, and He will not forgive us of our sins. Do not be guilty of a proud heart! If repentance is genuine, it must always be forgiven, even if it is the same sin over and over again.

Today, I pray God will be with you, and I hope prayer will protect your faith. Only you can forgive past sorrows and hurts. Each of us carries heartaches, but it is God who makes the trees sway to eradicate the memories and filth from its branches. God bless you!

Kindred spirits

Kindred Spirits

“The most intriguing people you will encounter in this life are the people who had insights about you, that you didn’t know about yourself.” Shannon L. Alder

It’s 3.1 minute read.

“Oh God ,I just met you ,but I feel I know you so much already”

A kindred spirit is someone whose energy resonates at the same frequency as yours.
They are the FEEL GOOD FACTORS

This can happen when you meet some one in person or online !

Definition of Kindred Spirit

According to Free Dictionary, Kindred spirit is defined as

“A person who shares several or many fundamental beliefs, ideas, convictions, sentiments, attitudes and/or interests with oneself”.

Kindred Spirits

It’s shared way of experiencing the world.

Simply put, a kindred spirit is someone who you share a mutual meaningful connection with.

Kindred spirit is the person who understands you so well and you too feel ,you understand this person equally well at the very first meeting between you both.
Both are very comfortable with each other at any given point .

It’s about innate connection.

The kindred spirit can enter your life for a moment, for a short period or be with you life long .

We meet many people in our lives. With some we feel the disconnect as if there is a wall in between but with some you feel they are magnetic and you both get attracted to each other !

Kindred Spirits

To discover a kindred spirit is to find your heart ,in the heart of a friend. Ann Parrish

Kindred spirits can be with anybody,be a known or unknown person.

What is the basis of Kindred Spirits ?

  • You both share common interests.
you can talk hours together and surprisingly outsiders can’t understand you.
  • You both understand each other so well and there is never an argument.
You both enjoy each others humour
You both feel as if you are a long-lost friends.
You are comfortable with each other .
You don’t hesitate to tell the most personal stuff
  • Though you might have met the person physically or online for a brief period, you have some sixth sense telling you that you can trust this person.
  • You are available all the time supporting each other both in Times of happiness and sadness.
  • You both are always in sync. You both understand your limitations. And there is some unexplainable cosmic flow between the two.The relationship is always positive and supportive.

Don’t confuse Kindred Spirits with soul mates or Twin flames. That is another discussion on some other day.

Have you at any time come across Kindred Spirit ?

Please share your thoughts on this subject.

Thank you.

but the Bean could never split

Robustly rattling the shell,
i was gravely biding
for the groaning cracks
to surface the crust
but the Bean could never split.

A layer of tar
despised the Bean
swelling the germ
and softening the shell
with the molten fury
but the Bean could never split.

Thriving for germination,
my echo strikingly reverberated
within the caliginous tunnel,
screeching for the shell to break
but the Bean could never split.

Congested damp clogged the pores,
barring the seed from rooting
in the milieu of growth,
while i redundantly reiterated
to clear the illusion
but the Bean could never split.

The baggage of throes
coated the fettered seed
with aches forcing it to wobble,
when i finally hammered out the shell
and there lay the seed deceased,
thus how could the Bean split?

When diet is wrong,Medicine is of no use .When Diet is correct, there is no need of Medicine.

Ayurveda Proverb

But sadly, many times we love to over eat, eat wrong food, and express lack of time for daily exercises. Many other  excuses are readily available.

Some of my friends who are diabetic, regularly eat sweets ( which is forbidden),and they come up with statements saying that their sugar is under control since they take their diabetic medicines regularly ,as if the diabetic medicines give them the license to over eat the sweets.

Some other friends with Hypertension ( High blood Pressure ) eat food rich in salt, like pickles, salt laced chips etc.( salt is restricted for hypertensive patients).

They happily tell me that they are care free since medicines they take to control the BP, will also take care of their salt in the food.

What is your type ? Do You eat food and medicine also like my friends ?

If you ask me, yes,I find many times difficult to resist the food, over eat some times and take pancreatic enzyme tablets for better digestion, whenever I felt I overindulged.

What are your thoughts on this subject ?

A Man Called Christian

My windows were wide open, but tears resonating from the house next door  hampered the refreshing molecules. I wondered… what kind of man makes a wife cry? The sobbing was an every night occurrence. He arrived home again and again, in the wee hours. She told me he worked late, but I doubted it.

He opened the door and kissed the kids goodnight while they stood at the mirror, brushing their teeth. Without a kiss for her, he told his wife he was going out back to work in the shop. “It relaxes me after a hard day’s work,” he claimed. She made dinner, so he grabbed the plate of food and headed to his hideout. The pain sharpened as a dagger twisted, once again, by his careless appearance. The back door slammed again and silence.

He locked himself away safely in the shed and pulled out a knife to snap off the top of a bottle buried in the chest. Whittling his world away, he hid his sorrows in the bottom of a longneck bottle. His state of mind included carving the names of his exes in the bottom of his soles so he could save himself from sin. Several hours later, he staggered to bed and slammed the door shut again. So, the screaming begun behind the blinds. It’s a horrible life for a wife to witness and endure, and only God could save the innocent from the terror of his conscience.

What kind of Christian man puts his family on a bus Sunday morning and stumbles to the shed for his own benediction? He opened another bottle for his personal communion. As he stared at the ground, he chuckled at the buried empties; meanwhile, a poor twenty-something mother of three, put on a face and filed into the aisle of a sanctuary. She has no money for the offering plate and seeks only the strength to make it home.

I ask God in heaven for His mercy. My heart is wrenched by a man named Christian who carves his past in the bottom of his boots. His days are numbered… he will soon discover if God doesn’t show His wrath first, then the bottle will. His wife bears a name she hates so much, and her three little ones will have to endure the legacy of their father’s misfortune. Are there prayers in heaven for a man who calls himself Christian? I wonder…

The day will come when the blood he bled will be no more. Three little children will have to fend for themselves while their mother struggles to support their mere existence. Her sacrifice is to put on an apron and do her best every single day. The kids now sit on the porch and carve their past into the treads of their own little world. I watch and pray God will bless this mess – the man called Christian, now left beneath his unmarked tombstone. A coward at best, he carved his memory into his children, and his reputation branded them for life.

I have changed the names in this story. I ask God, in the name of Jesus, to save this family. God bless the innocent, abused wife who slaves her life away and waits for Christ’s return. She prays for the forgiveness of the hatred boiling inside her for a man she thought she knew named Christian.

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound” Isaiah 61:1
