3.Your life is a meaningful minimum journey to be enjoyed to the maximum
Another thrash. And in spite, all the modern Gurus encourage us to lead a meaningful life.( self defeating )
What made Gautama Buddha get enlightenment ? It’s because of human suffering.Do we have similar God’s grace to get enlightened ?
Life is full of misery, and you are intelligent enough to accept that it’s painful to lead the life and death is the only permanent solution.Since we can’t die….at least let us accept the truth.
Happiness in your life is only for the time being that too in bits, and rest of the times you are busy whining.
“It’s a misery to be born,a pain to live,a trouble to die” St.Bernard of Clairvaux
Still, temporaryhappiness can come from minor things like, you playing with toys in your childhood, your first Kiss, sex now & then, massage, hot bath, friendship,a short travel, one night stand,A champagne,Receiving a lovely gift or a comforting hug etc.etc.. Drugs can take you to another level.
4.It’s better if you know your life partner before your marriage
Really?………another Utter lie.
No partner in love relationship..should feel that he has to give up an essential part of himself to make it viable May Sarton
Each individual is unique.Only sustained friendship in the form of total understanding between the life partners endures the marriage.
Life partners too expect personal space though they know each other so long !
Even if you knew your partner before,it’s not a guarantee for a successful marriage.
When you can’t understand the people, though you spend your whole life with them,(example parents vs children, children vs parents, siblings vs siblings),then why should you give importance to knowing your partner before?.
Understanding becomes easier after the marriage once you both know your limitations and your strengths mutually over the time.
5.Money won’t make you happy
Ha ha ….Without money you cease to exist.
My dear friend, money is everything. It brings you, both happiness and pleasure.
“Lack of money is the root of all evil” George Bernard Shah
We work / study for what ? is this not to earn money and live happily ?
People with more money are satisfied with their life style and are in a position to help others too.
He who marries for love without money has GOOD NIGHTS & SORRY DAYS unknown
6. Boys’ won’t cry
Virtually a child conditioning !!
“People cry not because they are weak, because they’ve been too strong for a long time” unknown
Boys too have feelings ,emotions, excitements and stages of sadness.
Otherwise why will Dr.Sivan,ISRO( The Indian Space Research Organisation ) chairman became teary eyed, when the Chandrayan mission was not successful ?There are many famous men like Andre Agassi and Obama too had teary eyes.
7.Blood is thicker than water
Unfortunately blood relatives are not interested in you, since they are struggling with their own problems and you have to fend yourself.
you can’t blame them.
‘Blood is always thicker than water, but some family members at times are on blood thinners’ unknown
Many times friends come to your rescue. The understanding with the friends anytime better than the blood relatives.
Ego and Jealousy play spoilsport in blood relationships.Don’t play victim card here !!
The television series “The Walking Dead” has been running for 10 seasons on AMC, and was recently renewed for an 11th season to begin in 2020. The series was set in a dystopian future where zombies, known exclusively as “walkers” in the show, threaten the mindless destruction all of human civilization.
These “walkers” are almost totally brain-dead and yet survive with one instinctive drive remaining within them, the drive to eat those who have not become zombies. Since this defective instinct is all that remains in each “walker”, they are not able to understand that should they prevail, they will ultimately die of starvation.
Part one of this series examined the deterioration and demise of mainstream journalism in America and the west as a whole. One reasonable challenge to that premise is this: If MSM journalism is dead, why are there so many large Leftmedia organizations still operating?
I believe the answer is that the Leftmedia is really a lot like the “walkers” in TWD. They are already basically dead, they just don’t know it yet.
The Leftmedia Is Mindlessly Driven by Virulent TDS
As was noted in part one, Trump Derangement Syndrome, or TDS, has thoroughly infected the Left as a whole, and it is manifested daily by the MSM. The symptoms are expressed by a drive to declare “orange man bad” in all circumstances without a shred of mindfulness or awareness of their obvious absurdity.
The most recent example of this took the form of a completely false story in Newsweek about President Trump staying in Florida over Thanksgiving to “golf” and “tweet” when in fact, as we all know now, Trump spent Thanksgiving in Afghanistan with the U.S. military. The author of the piece was subsequently fired by Newsweek, though it appears she may have been set up by her editors who refused to do a last-minute edit for her before publication.
This TDS obsession with taking President Trump down has gripped the Leftmedia since before he took office. One of the early examples came from CNN’s Chris Cuomo just a few days after the 2016 election.
On CNN’s New Day Wednesday morning, Cuomo vowed to oppose Trump’s policies, and stated he feels it is the job of the media as a whole to treat the next president of the United States with hostility. Per Cuomo, “The media cannot yield. This administration is going to demand constant fact-checking and opposition.”
Moreover, the first public call for the President to be impeached didn’t come from a politician. It was announced in the Washington Post, less than 20 minutes after the Inauguration! The title of the story was, “The campaign to impeach President Trump has begun.”
From that moment through today the Leftmedia has been driven toward that singular goal so forcefully that almost anything the MSM reports must include disparaging comments about the President. From ridiculous remarks about the flawless fashion of the First Lady among Christmas trees in the White House to blaming Trump policies for Hurricanes, it doesn’t matter, as long as the Leftmedia can scratch that TDS itch.
the pundits pushed beyond the standard narrative to specifically bash President Trump about his policies concerning ‘climate change.’ Here is one recent example from that fountain of leftist wisdom, CNN, as noted on the September 13th podcast of “The Buck Sexton Show,”
“While President Trump has been talking up on preparedness, his policies have been tearing down our defenses to climate change, which is often to blame for extreme weather. …on the very same day Trump was discussing ‘Florence’ in the Oval Office, his EPA proposed rolling back restrictions of emissions of methane, which 25 times worse than Carbon Dioxide when it comes to climate change.”
The Leftmedia Is Trying to Destroy Those Not Suffering from TDS
The Leftmedia has realized that not everyone is joining their ranks to destroy the Trump presidency. In other words, despite their claims that the President is some kind of horrific monster threatening the entire world, some remain unconvinced and have even begun to question that narrative.
The Leftmedia react to this much like the “walkers” of TWD when they stumble upon a group of normal human beings who haven’t succumbed to the zombie ‘virus.’ They attack and attempt to destroy them.
One of the more recent examples of this effort came when Senator John Kennedy, a Republican from Louisiana, who defended President Trump’s claim that Ukraine was also guilty of interfering in the 2016 U.S. election. The Leftmedia simply couldn’t abide opposition to its false narrative that Russia was the evil entity.
The main symptom of TDS today is the Leftmedia a refusal to accept the results of the 2016 election. As a result, the country was subjected to almost 3 years of investigating the campaign and administration of President Trump with the MSM assuring us every day that special counsel Robert Mueller and his team were going to end Trump’s presidency by proving “collusion” with Russia.
Even before the naming of a special counsel and any formal investigation, the Leftmedia fomented incessantly about “Russian collusion” with President Trump in the 2016 election.
Throughout 2017 — even before the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel — the networks were obsessed with the investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia’s efforts to affect the 2016 presidential election. As noted above, one-fifth of all Trump coverage on the evening newscasts last year was about the Russia probe, making it more prominent than the effort to repeal ObamaCare, tax reform, immigration, or any of the other Trump controversies that TV found so worthy of coverage. Yet very little of the airtime devoted to the Russia investigation was spent looking into how the inquiry into Team Trump first began, or whether Mueller’s current investigation is biased
Since this ‘Russian Collusion’ delusion has come undone, the turn is now to the ridiculous claim that a proper phone conversation, of which the transcript has been made public, somehow mystically contains impeachable offenses. Hogwash that people simply aren’t buying in increasing numbers, which is to the advantage of advancing the truth.
Beating “The Walking Dead” Media
Despite the fact that they are vastly outnumbered, the normal humans of TWD find various ways to survive and even thrive in a hostile environment. They succeed so well, that they are able to unite in various communities and begin the semblance of normal society once again.
There are three keys to beating the Leftmedia “walkers” of today. They are; to be aware, to be alarmed, and to be active.
To be aware means to be intentionally watchful of the MSM and their allies. Once one is aware, the overwhelming majority of sensible people are rightly alarmed at what is happening.
When the alarms begin to sound, the next step is to fight defensively or to be active in countering the Leftmedia propaganda at every turn. This means not allowing false, misleading and twisted claims from the MSM to go unchallenged.
However, we must also go on the offense in this war against the Leftmedia. This means advancing the truth at every opportunity to strike against the monolithic MSM and its claims.
These might appear to be extremely difficult or even impossible tasks but, believe it or not, conservatives are better equipped to accomplish them than ever before of the modern technology of the internet. Now I can almost hear the objections being voiced by many readers.
One of these objections is that the largest information platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are controlled and dominated by the Left. That is true, but it is not all of the truth.
Despite being outnumbered, the conservative voice remains a smaller but stronger force that is active on Leftist platforms. Moreover, particularly since Trump became President, unexpected allies are popping up all over on Left-leaning social media, i.e. the #Walkaway movement and a number of Black conservatives like Candace Owens and Terrence K. Williams on Twitter and Facebook.
Additionally, a new crop of media “watchdogs” have arisen that are effectively exposing the bias of the Leftmedia. Two who merit attentiveness and support, in particular, are the Media Research Center and Project Veritas.
These organizations operate in different ways. MRC watches and tracks the bias of the MSM from the outside. They report this bias with the mathematical simplicity of numbers, that is, how much Leftist bias has been disseminated by the “news” stories of the Leftmedia.
On the other hand, Project Veritas works from the inside with videos by those within the media giants, such as ABC, CBS, NBC, and cable “news” organizations like CNN. More importantly, PV has successfully exposed social media bias within both Facebook and Twitter.
Moreover, there are a number of enterprising individuals and groups who have recently started various alternatives to the Leftmedia in just about every area possible. Credit must be given here to the rise of conservative talk-radio, mainly through the success of the legendary Rush Limbaugh, which has paved the way for more recent efforts.
Younger conservative news outlets have arrived in both the cable and online venues. Notable among those are One America News [OAN] and Blaze TV that provide straight reporting and conservative commentary with facts, intelligence, and entertaining formats.
Modern Tech Means “We the People” are the Media Now
The key to successfully combatting the Leftmedia is to determine where the most effective battleground is located, as one would in any armed conflict. Today, that battleground is the internet, and most of all, the arena of social media.
President Trump recognized this early in his 2016 campaign. He charged into the realm of social media and has advanced his conservative agenda ever since, particularly on Twitter.
Those who have followed the President’s lead are making a real impact upon the news media arena in society. Moreover, the social media “field” is ready to be harvested.
Digital outlets serve as the main source of news for the majority of those under 35, including 64% of those between the ages of 18 and 24. Meanwhile, TV still reigns supreme for 51% of those over 55.
Authors Yvonne Burton and Lewis Everett wrote an excellent piece on redpilldentinel.com imploring conservatives to understand and employ the power and potential of the presence we already enjoy in “social media” today.
They argue that the Left must be countered by more than defensive moves and that conservatives must “pivot” and go on the offense specifically on “social media,” and that we are in an optimum position to do this now. The process for making such a “pivot” is twofold.
First of all, we must stop believing that the arena of social media is somehow unworthy of our efforts, and ceding that ground to the Left.
The old gatekeepers are not in charge. CNN and Fox are on in the background. People tune into social media personalities with intent and passion. Has the MSM lasted this long because of cable bundles and airport contracts? No one actively seeks out a Brian Stelter or a Jake Tapper to get their take on things. On social media people actively and intentionally tune into Paul Joseph Watson’s videos on current events and culture. People actively seek out videos from hip hop star and current events commentator An0maly. People actively seek out Will Chamberlain’s analysis of all things related to the law. People actively read the Twitter timelines of Mike Cernovich, Jack Posobiec, and Ali Alexander to stay up to date on all the latest current events. [my italic]
As evidence that this quote is a correct assessment, consider this point. Mike Cernovich has over 528,000 followers on Twitter. That is close to some of the recent viewership totals for all of CNN news!
The embattled CNN, which always lands in far-last place and axed more than 100 jobs already this year, had about as bad of a ratings month as is possible in May. … the fake news outlet’s total day viewers dove nine percent (compared to this same month last year) to just 559,000 viewers.
The big dog in the Twitter universe is President Trump, hands down. He currently has 67.4 million followers on that platform.
It is certainly not the largest following on Twitter. That title belongs to former President Barack Obama at 108 million followers, just edging out Katy Perry.
However, I submit that it is certainly not Obama that drives the political discourse on Twitter and through that medium, around the world. It is President Trump’s tweets that drive entire news cycles on the MSM and conservative media.
Of course, there is also the issue of censorship being employed on social media toward conservative voices. The way to combat this tactic is twofold.
First, do not abandon the conservative voice on the mega-platforms of social media. I believe the idea should be to make them remove us, but we aren’t going to remove ourselves for you.
Second, seek out the free-speech conservative alternative social media and internet news outlets and support them. Competition is a basic capitalist and conservative principle, and more of it is needed in the tech world.
Such competition is beginning to surface in most areas of internet communication. Here are some of my personal preferences for alternatives to the Leftmedia on the internet.
Search Engine/Browser alternatives to Google: DuckDuckGo, Opera, Firefox Email: protonmail.com News, Information, Commentary: One America News, Gateway Pundit, The Federalist, Breitbart, The Patriot Post, ZeroHedge, Western Journalism, BlazeTV, Prager U, The Washington Times, The Epoch Times, billwhittle.com, the Buck Sexton Show, Judicial Watch, Project Veritas Media Bias: The Media Research Center[MRC] Social Media: Parler and MeWe are my current favorites. They are mostly populated by conservatives but there is no banning, shadow or otherwise, except for reasonable limits such as no pornography or illegal content.
Leftmedia “journalism” and the MSM are dying on the vine. The time has come to declare the truth that “We the people” ARE the media now, and we can unleash the truth against the lies and slanders of the enemy to defeat them.
For there is no truth in their mouth; their inmost self is destruction; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongue. Make them bear their guilt, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; because of the abundance of their transgressions cast them out, for they have rebelled against you. But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. Psalm 5:9-11 [ESV]

Today, I acknowledged a miracle of words when I picked up my
sacred golden pages known as the Bible. I was seeking special words of
encouragement to share with my readers when a light shone on a preface. Among
the Scriptures and descriptions of my Bible were four simple words clear as the
morning sky – The history of hope. Wow! This Christian compilation of sixty-six
books and letters, written by over forty authors, says more about the
complexity of God’s holy words than anything else. What better way can you describe
the Bible than hope!
If I ever find time to pen, ‘A Bible for Dummies,’ I’ll
use these encouraging words to show the love God shares with humanity. I often
mention the voids we have in our souls. We look for something to fill the
emptiness deep inside us. Its HOPE, of course, hopes our faith will withstand
the depression of the world we live in today.
This divine and extraordinary book is God’s plan for our
salvation. The Bible gives us deliverance from sin, repentance, a roadmap for
faith, and a refuge in times of trouble. It’s a sourcebook for everyday living,
regardless of your religion. Even though its stories took place in Asia,
Africa, and Europe, the message is still the same for all believers – everyone needs
Everyone dreams of a better future, but what do we use as
guidelines to make it happen? We can rely on our wisdom and knowledge, or we
can refer to biblical scriptures for the exact answers. I know someone right
now is saying, “I can’t understand or comprehend the Bible.” Guess what?
Neither can I, but I take one passage at a time, and I ask for God’s help…and
it works! Another resource for better comprehension is to do a careful search
on the internet. Only use resources written by the church and their ministry.
The word “hope” in the Bible means “a strong and confident
expectation.” It deals with things, yet unseen, and the testimony of God’s
promises. In other words, the Bible is HOPE. Hope – based on heavenly realities,
which gives us the power to live courageously, and to be all we can be through
The words “The history of hope” alone alludes to peace and sovereignty. Hope gives us strength and courage. Never give it up nor the hope in the power of our Lord!
Maybe it was the lack of sleep or the weight of thousands of miles traveled, but I nearly cried when I saw Spam Fried Rice on the menu. The overwhelming sense of nostalgia came with that one uniquely Guam dish.
Even though it had been 25 years since I was last on Guam, the place felt the same. The individuals, the business names, and the political players changed. Roads have widened and beaches narrowed. Yet the essence that is undeniably Micronesia is perhaps stronger than before.
My trip to Guam in September of 2019 was a lesson in synchronicity and serendipity. For the 10 days that I was there, I only had one activity planned: the book launch on Wednesday, September 18. I went with an open heart and mind to let the journey unfold as it would and trusted a Higher Power to guide each step of the way.
The reason for the trip? Back in 1992, while attending the University of Guam, I was part of an Anthropology field school on Ulithi Atoll. Fast forward 20-some years, the professor retired and finally had time to compile a book about Ulithi. Papers myself and fellow students wrote as a result of the field school were part of the volume, Ulithi Atoll, Micronesia: Recalling the Past, Reaffirming the Future, along with more recent research from the 21st century.
Less than a month before the formal book launch, I was contacted by one of the book’s editors to inform me about the existence of this book. That was just one of a cascading volume of “coincidences” that were part of my Guam experience.
My former professor had tried to track me down me before. When time was running out, she asked the other editor to try. If this person had tried a week or two earlier, she would not have established contact.
The only reason she was able to reach me was that, merely a week prior, I had added the URL for this blog onto my Facebook page. If I hadn’t done that, I would have completely ignored the friend request and I would have absolutely no knowledge that this book existed, and hence, I would not have journeyed to Guam. As it was, she conveyed a message through the comments section on my blog, which comes straight to my inbox.
Guam is an island of connections. It seemed that everywhere I went and everything I did wove tiny threads of synchronism linking events, people, the past, and the future into a cohesive whole. I had such an overwhelming sense that I was exactly where I was supposed to be when I was supposed to be there.
The day I arrived, a two-day conference ended about decolonizing Guam. This is a topic I was actively learning about to inform the novel I’m writing. Turns out, a former classmate who I had been looking to reconnect with was very involved with the issue. When we met for dinner, it was as if no time had passed and we talked and talked, much to the annoyance of people waiting to be seated at the restaurant.
Another motivation for returning to Guam was to get more information about the Suruhana, the traditional healers on Guam. This was also to inform my writing. ‘Coincidentally,’ my friend was familiar with a number of Suruhana and an avid supporter of helping the tradition survive in the 21st century.
Oh, and so many more parallels. When I had been on Guam in the 80s and 90s, I knew my friend had grown up on-island. Little did I realize that she had gone to high school in Medford, Oregon, a rather small, rural town. At that point, I had never been to Oregon. After moving away from the island I had happened to go through Medford shortly after my husband and I married in 1995. We fell in love with the area and have lived there ever since. So, my friend and I also had Medford in common.
There were too many other coincidences and parallels to mention. I’ll just say that every conversation confirmed that I had needed to be on Guam at that moment, to have that conversation, to gain that insight.
Overall, a strong sense of “it is time” pervaded my consciousness. It was time to act. Time to show up in the world. Time to let my voice be heard. Time to move beyond fear and fulfill my purpose. Heady stuff? Yes. Yet all it really means is that I must trust myself and do what is in front of me.
I can’t help but believe that my meditation practice allowed my mind to be clear and to fully discover the joy and meaning of each moment. In Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche’s words, “As we grow accustomed to looking at the clear surface of our minds, we can see through all the gossip about who and what we think we are, and recognize the shining essence of our true nature.” (The Joy of Living, p. 132).
I believe that you can come to know your true nature through many different religions and paths. As my husband recently heard, when the student is ready, all things become the teacher. So whether you’re in a 12-step program, a devout follower of a religion or anything in between, my wish for you is that you come to know how amazing you truly are and can follow your passion to your ultimate fulfillment.
My life is full of
memories, and like the seasons, they fall short in the shadows of the branches.
The earliest was being the curse of my Mom’s divorce. Sibling rivalry recounts many
quarrels. Callused friends also couldn’t compromise, and we parted company
before psychological differences made life not worth living. But as Jesus
taught, we are under obligation to forgive others because refusing to forgive
is a sin. God, alone, seeks justice.
For many, we leave
adolescence and venture into the unknown as young adults with damaged hearts of
childhood memoirs. We try to stay out of the direct sunlight and seek a place
where the branches sway with a refreshing breeze of freedom. But even so, life
is incomplete… harmonies are out of tone. We live with skeletons in the closet.
The ladders of success look so inviting, but we’re afraid of heights. Our heart’s
gear may be wounded if we take a jump. Even the love we search for away from
home fails from the bitterness in our soul. Lord, can you guide me through the
insecurities of life? Will you fill the empty spot scorned by storms and the
scorching sun?Help me find a place where the trees sway in tempered
life moves on, sorrows mourn, and forgiveness becomes good medicine for the
broken heart. Pain is re-trained by a willingness to release the offender from
the wrong, and it sets us free. But, those who live in remorse of the past will
become sick, infected with a virus called resentment. Under the trees sway, God
will wait for their heart to forgive so His gentle wind can renew their hope once
Forgiveness is the
positive connection linking the past to the present. Everyone is at fault of
holding grudges, yet only God shall judge the sinners. His love, which carries us
through life, generates through our faith. When faith runs out, we fill our
body (God’s temple) with hatred, and He will not forgive us of our sins. Do not
be guilty of a proud heart! If repentance is genuine, it must always be
forgiven, even if it is the same sin over and over again.
Today, I pray God
will be with you, and I hope prayer will protect your faith. Only you can
forgive past sorrows and hurts. Each of us carries heartaches, but it is God who
makes the trees sway to eradicate the memories and filth from its branches. God
