The War is Over for Authors!!

Thank you to our personal friend, President Donald Trump!! My wife and I have been in close contact for several months, with the President about the illegal bootlegging of our book, “There in God’s Grace” and other authors, by Amazon, Walmart, and other companies.

On Thursday, he signed an Executive order to involve the Federal Trade Commission and Homeland Security to investigate and possibly shut down these companies! Read the story here…

If you think God doesn’t look out for the well-being of His people, think again!! NO ONE is bigger than the Lord!! Amazon and Walmart think they are above the law but they are not!!! God bless you our sweet friend and Melania too!!!

Last Love

All glooms around me, I stand to reminisce our last fatal moment.

The feel of your touch, which awoke sensations never before touched, the taste of your words, the freshness of your breath still lingers; the sweet sound of you’re voice still echoes. I stand alone, recalling what now is lost, even the lifeless around me know; they understand as they have began to decay & refuse to flourish as they once did, they mock me or pity, I refuse to acknowledge, for the storm within me erupts like a volcano gushing forth its pain and anger with all its might to destroy everything within its reach, for the pain builds and subsides at its leisure beyond my control.

Pain is a futile word to describe my loss. My heart mourns, it weeps due to being distant from you. It knows to only function in one way; and that is …

being with you.

There’s a hidden story behind them, there’s a secret hidden pain, those deep, yet long wrinkles, that attempt to hide the scars in vain,

her sad sunken eyes searched for someone lost in the distance, I noticed a tear tremble as she tried her best to avoid them in resistance.

Who was it that she longed for? who was it that she searched? who could of left her so broken? Unaided as I continued to implore.

She looked at me, as if it was her final goodbye, I held her hand to reassure her; as she began..

to close her eyes.

A silent cry, A silent tear, with no one around to compel; see or hear.

Loneliness my companion, a strange friend indeed, eats me away within; reminding me of my deficiency.

No knock or sound except of footsteps traveling another direction, I hear, I see, but stare in hope of a familiar face, a familiar body.

The darkness aids my enstranged friend, both mocking my surroundings, and then at me.

I mourn at what was once mine, and now forever gone. I reminisce at the days of happiness, as I lay still, as I lay lost.

Closing my eyes to escape, what is before me, allowing the stars, allowing the sky to envelope me,

holding; hoping; that tomorrow; will bring a better day, a better me.

The secret code to writing a best seller

Is there such a thing as a secret code to a best seller or is it a myth?

Well I decided to conduct some research to find answers and stumbled across some very interesting advice from various authors. The likes of Stephen King, Sylvia Day, Archer and Jockers (you get the idea).

‘An arresting opening line is crucial to ensnaring an audience’

I agree, absolutely spot on, it is the opening of the book and even first line which captures or ensnares the audience. Personally for me; the opening of a book is a deciding factor whether I will read further on or not. I often give the author many opportunities before I finally decide to abandon a book(which is pretty much towards the end of it).

Whilst Stephen King elaborates a little;

‘You should focus not on plot but situation, the most interesting of which can be expressed as a ‘what-if?’ question. Go easy on the research, beware of dialogue, and remember that people love reading about work. “God knows why but they do”.

Work, hmm, maybe it’s because they would like to relate to it in a way(I think).

Another interesting piece of advice by one of the authors Jeffery Archer;

‘Just make sure the reader has to turn each page, desperate to find out what happens next. It’s that easy’ – Jeffrey Archer

We all have been there, enjoyed good books and still do, where we are eager to find out, what happens next, curiosity doesn’t just kill the cat, it pretty much kills us too.

Everyone’s life a story

What’s your story today?

How many have you told today?

Did you write or tell it today?

Like our ancestors did before us in the yesterdays,

Everyone’s life makes a story day by day,

Whatever the genre, no one ever gets bored any day,

That’s why we continue in a new form, called blog, these days,

And answer to the Daily Post one-word prompt and post a day,

Hear ye, hear ye, followers, authors and readers solidarity wins each and all day.
