Captive of love

You say you want to go;
You tell me
You want to go;
You tell me
You want to leave me;
I tell you
You will not go;
I tell you
You will not leave me;
I tell you
I will not let you go;
I tell you
You are captive;
A prisoner of my heart;
Forever, your freedom
You’ve lost.
Love won’t let you go.

One can Forgive but can one erase the bitterness ?

One can Forgive but can one erase the bitterness ?

When you forgive you don’t change the past but you do change the future.

Technically majority of us try to forgive, but 100 % of us forget that,we have forgiven, and somewhere the unpleasantness, haunts us for sometime, after all we are human beings !!

Some quotes…….

“Forgive other,not because thy deserve forgiveness,but because you deserve peace.” Jonathan Lockwood Huie

“It’s not an easy journey, to get to a place where you forgive people.But it is such a powerful place,because it frees you” Tyler Perry

Forgiveness releases the burden of a heavy heart Mathew 6:14-15

“Forgiveness is a funny thing. It warms the heart and cools the sting.” William Arthur Ward

“As long as you don’t forgive, who and whatever it is will occupy a rent-free space in your mind.” Isabelle Holland

When you forgive,you do not erase the memory.You simply choose to forgive to free yourself from the bitterness.

Challenge to the USA

Hello America!
Lovely, nice people;
Good, great country;
Land of freedom;
Land of democracy;
Land of opportunity;
Today is 4th of July;
You celebrate
Declaration of Independence;
What a great day!
With a clarion call; A big challenge;
As you celebrate
The day you changed
The course of history;
And gave it a better direction.
You are a great nation,
By many, far and near admired;
Role model;
We count on v you
To continue to show,
And light the way
That the world must follow;
Of recent, worrisome signals
Have raised their ugly head;
Democracy appears to be
On the slab for slaughter;
The values of light
Gradually rubbed in mud
And trampled upon;
Integrity overthrown
By pocket power;
Letting out waves of worry;
And fear across the continents;
Can we continue to count on you, America?
Is America still ready,
And able to champion
The struggle
To free the world
From the fangs and tyranny
Of unscrupulous persons?
That is your challenge,
4th July country;
Land of freedom and democracy.

Independence day!

Independence day!
4th of July;
What a great day, indeed!
World History was made;
Not American history alone,
The history of the world;
The American Declaration
Of Independence;
A new nation was born;
Freedom was gained;
A birth yet untold;
A new beginning
The entire world recreated;
What a precious commodity
Freedom is;
It opens new doors,
To new possibilities unimagined.
May every human being
Be blessed,
To have the freedom so desired;
To realize their potential
To the full;
And the full potential
Of the land!

Let us have our peace

No destruction do we so want
In our land;
No fire and blood in our land
Do we want;
What we want is peace and calm;
That milk and honey may flow
For all, strong and weak;
Rich and poor alike;
We want not brother to fight
Against brother;
No running up and down on our
Streets, our cities and towns;
Nor brother to kill brother;
But brother and brother to hold
Each other’s hand and move
In love and solidarity,
To the destiny that is ours;
Wouldn’t we have our peace
To live our lives?
Shouldn’t we have our freedom
to freely move and live?
Give us the opportunity to live
Our lives to the full
As our Creator planned we should.

Questions to answer

  1. What should be taken into consideration before a young person leaves the parents’ home to live independently?
  2. If you are still living with your parents, what makes you scared or look forward to the day you will leave your parents and live on your own?
  3. If you have already left your parents and are living on your own, tell us your experience? How hard or easy was it to decide?

Celebrating with pomp

Journalists celebrating World Press Freedom Day with pomp.

Event marked by award of prizes and certificates.

All over the world, Journalists want to do their work to the best of their abilities but hardly is it possible.

World Press Freedom Day offers them the opportunity to reflect on the ups and downs of the profession and chart a way forward.

World Press Freedom Day

How free is the Press in your country?
Is it real freedom or fake freedom?
Does the Press have enough power
To check power in your country?
Or the Press has been pocketed by
by the Government and powerful people?
How well is the Press doing its work?
Everything seems to go in the press;
Lies and unverified information
Are the order of the day in the Press;
For press men and women to do
Their work rightly,
They must ensure that they respect
The canons of their profession;
The door must be closed to quacks;
Pressmen and women should know
That freedom of the Press is fought for,
And never given on a platter of gold.
