Your immense contribution

I call you a great man;
If I do so,
It is not for nothing;
It is because
You render selfless service
To humanity;
You have never spared
Any effort
To fight for the poor;
To fight for the deprived;
To fight for the suffering people of the world;
To fight for those
Who have no voice:
To fight for the voiceless;
It is clear
The world is a better place
Because of you.
I urge you to keep on
As you are doing;
The world cannot be indifferent
To your immense contribution.
You are, indeed, a great man.

Quote (Be inspired today 68 by Ngobesing Suh Romanus)

“You become great and famous among your people by identifying and solving an important problem that they face or by making an innovation that significantly impacts their lives.” (Romilia quotes)

This quote is very apt.

If you want to be great and famous, you can.

Know your people; identify their needs or problems.

Take one of the key ones and solve it.

You cannot fail to be great and famous.

People with great minds recognize other great minds

Many great minds say great minds recognize the great works of other great minds. I do agree with them.

My interaction with a number of amazing bloggers motivated me to write this post. One of them is Godwin T. Ihagh. He is an amazing blogger you will do well to meet.

I have found along the years that people with great minds readily recognize and acknowledge the good work of others.

People with small minds either try to ignore what others are doing or even downgrade it.

It’s understood. It’s not an easy thing to build your mind to that level of consciousness where you feel comfortable with the shine of others and encourage and hail them for it. But it is worthwhile and rewarding. The general tendency is sadly to run down others, and play down their work so that they should not shine. This does not help anyone.

I find many great minds in the blogosphere. I was most delighted when many people expressed joy about a post I wrote hailing another post I found on the web. The post in question highlighted important rules of Blogging. To share that great post with fellow bloggers, I titled my post A Post with 500 Comments. Luckily I found it.

It quickly attracted people I consider to have great minds. They not only read it, but also appreciated it. I found this brilliant of them.

When you uplift others, it comes back to you in a way.

I don’t know what you think; but I believe there is a natural law by which when you selflessly offer someone a gift, whatever it may be, God will get the container you used, refill it, multiply it a hundredfold if not more, and return to you.

If I were to advice, I would say let us gift others with encouragement . Let us recognize the great works of others and celebrate their achievements. That is incredible investment.

You will be rewarded for such magnanimity. This holds for all fields including blogging. The encouragement you give to fellow bloggers always returns to you more abundantly than what you gave.

Qualified to be the best

If you dream to be the best
May that never be laid to rest,
Knock, if no one opens, insist;
If the going is tough, persist;
Whenever you lose a round,
Make sure you stand your ground;
Master the rules of the game;
That’s what is done to get to fame;
Do well to go the way of the great;
Which is never to be afraid;
Instead, have trust in the Lord;
Who is a never failing God.
You’re where all the great started;
Yet, they got to where they ended;
You too can do the same;
And enter the hall of fame.
Do not be afraid to be the first;
You are qualified to be the best.

Go ahead and be famous

If you want to be famous;
I have no problem with that;
Feel free to be famous;
I endorse your dream;
Go ahead and be famous;
It is your right
To be famous;
It is your right
To be great;
It is your right
To be extraordinary;
It is your right
To be a superstar;
It is your right
To be anything you desire
To be;
Nobody has the right
Or the power
To stop you;
Only you can stop yourself;
Only you can decide not to be;
You have the right,
And the potential
To rise to any height
Of your choice;
All you need is
To know exactly what you want;
To be fully determined to get it;
To be 100% committed to it;
To work extremely hard;
And persist when you meet
Challenges;
Obstacles;
Opposition,
And discouraging messages
From others;
You must meet them;
All the great people
Of the past met them;
All the great people of our day,
Continue to meet them;
All the superstars
Of the past met them;
And the superstars of today
Continue to meet them;
All the famous people
Of the past met them;
All the famous people of today,
Continue to meet them;
You can do like them;
Anyone who likes can do
Like them;
Yes, you can be famous;
Please, go ahead and be famous.

Help

Help is good for all;
The weak need help;
And the string need help;
The poor need help;
And the rich need help;
Slow people need help;
Smart people need help;
Lazy people need help;
Smart people need help;
Cowards need help,
Brave people need help.
The bottom line:
Help is good for all;
Everyone needs help;
Different kinds of help;
Nobody does it through life
Without help.
Be humble and ask for help;
Be humble and get help;
When you need it.

Can anyone become a legend

Can anyone become a legend?

Are some people born to be legends while others are not?

Can anyone become great?

Are some people born to be great

While others are not?

Can anyone become a superstar?

Are some people born to become superstars while others are not?

Hear me answer you:

Anyone can become a legend;

You can become a legend;

Anyone can become great;

You can become great;

Anyone can become a superstar;

You can become a superstar.

Nothing can stop you

If you are determined enough;

Nobody can stop you

If you are determined enough;

Obstacles there will be,

But obstacles, you can overcome.

But what does it take

To become great?

To become a superstar?

To become a legend?

Service is my answer;

It takes service to people;

Selflessly serve people

In a way that touches their hearts;

And you become their hero;

The more you serve,

The more you touch their hearts,

The greater you become;

Keep on going and one day

You will become a superstar;

You will become a legend;

It’s not magic at all.

Become great my good friend;

Become a superstar;

Become a legend;

Choose what service you want

To render to humanity;

Stick to it;

Keep on serving;

Overcome obstacles and keep on;

One day you will smile broadly;

That you went for it and had it.

Great is you

Great is you.

Great is you
As I see it
With my own eyes.

Great is you.

Great is you
From the way
You think.

Great is you.

Great is you
Whose springboard
Is the sky.

Great is you.

Great is you
Whose limit
Is the universe.

Great is you.

Great is you
Who are wise enough
To know what is important
And what is not;
That not earthly life
But eternal life
Is what matters.

Great is you.
Great is you
Who know God,
Maker of everything
Great and small;
In heaven and on earth.

Great is you.

Great is you;
Great, great is you.
Great is the wise one
That you are.
We say, “Thank you, Lord”.

This poem was inspired by a conversation I had with Horatianessentials to whom I express my gratitude.

A great week

Let’s make this week
A great week;
Yes, we can;
Let’s not sit and wait;
Nobody will do it for us;
Let’s go out and do it;
Yes, we can;
Let’s not wait
For motivation to come
From outside;
Let’s motivate ourselves;
And do what we want
To do;
Yes, we can;
Let’s be determined;
And work like horses;
And persist;
And we’ll make it big;
Yes, we can;
We can make this week
A great week;
And a special week;
We have every reason
To do it;
And no excuse not to
Do it;
Yes, we can;
Yes, indeed, we can.
