The Secret to Salvation

Steeped in my mind are the slender memories of Vietnam. Today, we witness the same violence on our own stomping grounds. I cannot help but seek peace with God, for it seems to be humanity’s only hope. The noise and chaotic atmosphere of gunfire and pepper spray capture the illusion that war is agony on earth.

Our unruly citizens battle for a belief they do not truly comprehend, but they still seek the opposition. Taking up arms to fight to the death, they create a hell in their own mind. A peaceful protest turns into another violent sunset, like an afternoon thunderstorm. Do we know what or who they are worshipping? What will be their secret to salvation?

Satan has deceived most of humanity to believe they have an immortal soul. It is only him who will laugh in the night air as the wounded lie in desperation and lawlessness settles in like a heavy dew. God’s willingness to grant us the freedom to make our own choices allows for the moral and physical evil.  Combatants will not escape the penalty for disobedience to the Lord, which is death, for the only thing that thrives in hatred is hate itself, not salvation.

A solid Christian will quickly recognize evildoers. Nonbelievers do not know the Bible in any capacity, nor do they lead a life according to God’s rules. Only goodness and love develops from faithfulness. Violent and self-destructive humans do not possess these characteristics because bitterness consumes their souls. They display traits of abusiveness, chaos, misstating truths, and rejecting reality.

Pope Francis was once asked in an interview if we should try to convert evil people, and his response was, “NEVER!” He pursued his comment by saying Christians should live by example and our testimony of the true faith in God.

If we analyze this theory, we quickly note that righteousness begins at home. When we raise our children to know God, the Ten Commandments, and the Bible, they will always remember this love, despite their choices later in life. That is a Christian parent’s duty, especially if we baptized the child in the church. Unless victims of brainwashing, our offspring will eventually realize this is their only way to salvation through Jesus Christ.

We cannot deal with evil on our own – this is a misconception. Christians must pray to our Heavenly Father and ask for deliverance. Give the wickedness of the world to God and let Him handle it. This is the secret to salvation!

These are horrible times of no direction or leadership, and God is our only miracle. Placing trust in Him will be the only peace you will receive in the concrete’s dirty gutters. Seek our Almighty Lord for vengeance, for it is His, not yours.

Thank you, Lord, for being there for us and allowing us to cry out to You in our times of need. God, there are things happening around us right now that we do not understand. Some of these things make us feel weak, helpless and afraid. Even in the midst of this, we know that You are the Lord.

We know that the situation is in Your hand, and we trust You. We beseech you for strength and for wisdom that we would be able to endure this situation and be able to handle it in a way that would bring glory to Your name.

In Jesus name. Amen.

Has your church opened its doors yet? If not, listen to Dana Bicks speak about conviction:

The Quality of Life

What is the value of your quality of life? Perhaps as Christians, it’s understanding we do not do spontaneous things without putting God first into the equation. Does your quality of life reflect the image of our Holy God? Can we have a good quality of life if we are living in constant sin?

In my childhood years, I thought the quality of life only depended on attending church. We dressed in our finest apparel and polished loafers. Socializing with other members of the church created encouragement and acceptance. But was that ‘quality,’ or was it just an hour of mingling?

Christian living isn’t easy, but challenges and difficulties of life help us grow to have Jesus Christ’s mind and the character of God. He gave us the Bible to teach us the best way to live. However, very few Christians rarely make time to comprehend it. It is a wealth of information on the quality of life because it addresses fruitfulness, success, happiness, joy, purpose, and blessings. So, allow me to highlight some points on today’s topic.

In the New Testament, God relates the quality of life to an assurance of His favor and a sense of doing His will. In some circumstances, material blessings imply much, but the focus is not on physical possessions. Personal greed, lust, and pride are explicitly mentioned as the adversaries of a quality of life, for they create selfishness.

“And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”  Luke 12:15

So, what is a real quality of life for Christians? It is spending our days in the expectation and hope of eternal life in God’s kingdom. We can start by abiding by the Ten Commandments, which is a firm guideline for morals. Let’s add unity, harmony, and peace with the Lord and others into the equation. It is loving all God’s children, and sometimes using ‘tough love’ in His image. We should remain in constant prayer and often praise His Holy name.

I ask, is there peace inside your heart, soul, and mind? It’s about time that all Christians get off the fence and plow their ground. Respect the written Word of God, for your salvation is at risk. Do not attempt to minimize or change the Laws of God to suit your own needs.

Take this moment to ask God to come and enter your body of flesh and heal your spirit. It’s a temple, so dust off your soul, vacuum your spirit, and cleanse the ungodly thoughts. Now you will begin to find the Christian quality of life.

God bless you!

The Perfect 10

As society sways in and out of the going tide, I reach for answers deep inside my soul. Hatred brands many minds as their evil destruction is so uncharacteristic of God’s original creation. Today we are at the mercy of the town criers who scream, “The world is ending!” Funny, it’s only the unbelievers who are running scared and to such wild extremes. God set on stone tablets the instructional directions that we are to follow – the perfect 10, known as the Commandments.

While rereading these moral laws, can we understand that if everyone lived by them, then crime, hatred, and deplorable sins would barely exist? And of all the alterations to the Bible and God’s Words, never have these laws been touched. Interesting! So, they are my perfect ten, for they are the only laws we need to live a godly life.

In my reverence, I consider what man has done to the essence of society. They removed the Lord from schools; very few believe in Him or attend church, churches are burned down, and social media placed bans on Christian posts. Among the battle cries, we have hateful, godless children and adults who wave their artillery, damning everyone’s life. In their rightful mind, no man will find peace and harmony without the Lord seated in their soul!

As history repeats itself, God sent the perfect ten for the Israelites, His chosen people, to follow because riots and upheavals were commonplace. His commandments, handed to Moses, defined their sin and revealed the difference between the holy and a commoner.

“Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ (Exodus 19:5-6) …”

The Lord also clarified that those defiant in His laws will forever carry the guilt because it is blasphemy. Need I clarify that society, today, doesn’t want any standard of righteousness, rules, or Commandments? People do not recognize their bondage of sin, and sadly, they are doomed. Satan has deceived the inhabitants of this world!

Christians, I ask you to please pray for the lost who dominate our land. May we all soon, see the power of the Perfect Ten. Let us hold close God’s laws and never forget their meaning or value for our eternal salvation.

Recognizing Humanity

As appalling current events unravel before our very eyes, an underlying message lies deep between the lines of the newspapers and social media posts. Christians must understand we need to stand up, today, for the Lord and His written Word. Be followers of Jesus, or live in the sinful realm of Satan!

Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.  1 John 3:7

Are all people not created equal? Did God make one race superior over another? No! He made each person unique in His own light, and an “image of Him.” So, why is there a need for racism?

My first thought in recognizing humanity is the word equality. It engulfs the notion that every person, regardless of religion, race, or gender, has the same rights. I believe this to be true, but many in the United States have a tough time putting it into practice. I think the issue is not about equality, but a varying difference of opinions. Let me give you an example…

In today’s times, the Jews often dispute “the image of God.” They feel strongly that God was referring only to Israel’s nation, for they abide more so by the Old Testament than Christians. The problem with this is God didn’t create people to be more valuable than others, nor more deserving of His love than others.

We must come to grips with the fact that humanity will either accept God’s Word or not and live a life worthy of God. It is an individual choice – one which will be personally answered to before the Lord.

I find the greatest country on earth, oddly enough, is spreading the most immature behavior. Americans are like a box of crayons standing collectively inside a little cardboard box. Our colors bring vibrancy to creativity, yet the mean-spirited are determined to break us in half, creating separation through social justice. We each bring gifts and talents to the table, and all skin colors and religions are equal in the worth that God has given them.

My goodness! Isn’t it time to come together? Yes, I’m aware Satan has control over many; but it shouldn’t deter the rest of our communities from acknowledging the self-worth of man.

In the spirit of recognizing humanity, let us attend church regularly instead of rioting. If you want equality, then put God first. Yes, let’s recognize humanity! Instead of rioting and judging others for their race and religion, let us go to church on Sunday morning and ask for forgiveness. Pray for the lost that they may find solace in the Lord.

It is Satan’s unending motive to disenfranchise us from God, so why are we empowering him? The discrimination of racism begins in the heart, so give it to God! I ask you to recognize humanity for what it is – the Lord’s beautiful creations… born with many differences.

The Relevance of Man

On this Father’s Day, I ponder the relevance of the first man on earth and the ancestral father of humankind. Through Adam’s transgression, sin entered the human race. We should be angry with him because his disobedience brought death to humanity and separated us from God. But even with this rough beginning, Adam still shared a close relationship with the Lord. He set the stage for many future generations of fathers.

The relevance of Adam is great, for the Lord taught to him how to be a father, husband, and leader. Men, today, have lost many of his attributes through the centuries, but let’s review some of those original traits.

He was to become “one flesh” with his wife, always loving, respecting and praising her. God asked Adam to honor Eve as the weaker vessel.

Adam was responsible to guide his family in God’s ways by leading his family in prayer and worship. He was to be the head of the family, just as Christ is the head of the church.

The Lord demanded him always to work hard and keep a job to benefit his wife and children. If Adam could not provide for his family, he would deny his faith. (1 Timothy 5:8)

God asked Adam to be strong and courageous, as His presence would always be with him.

Adam was to raise wise, disciplined children while showing them compassion. He was to teach them about the Lord and the importance of following His instructions.

If Adam stayed righteous in integrity, God would bless his children. (Proverbs 20:7) It was crucial to be accountable and honorable.

The Bible speaks to all people – whether men or women. However, Galatians 3:28 spoke to me: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” I hope liberated women will not misinterpret this verse for “man,” alone, was anointed by God with an exceptional title – the Body of Christ. Created in the image of the Lord, the Christian male stands tall and proud, just as Adam, before his family and God. He carries the weight of his loved ones on his shoulders while also following the Lord’s footsteps.

To all fathers, you are so cherished and loved for helping to build the Kingdom of God. It doesn’t matter if you have natural born children or stepchildren; your guidance could ultimately lead a child to the Lord. What fantastic recognition, fathers… you are God’s perfect creation!

Waiting on His Return

We are familiar with the details of Christ’s fanfare when He returns amidst trumpets sounding across the land. The clouds will break open, and God’s light will shine as He returns. We can visualize the dead rising first as He calls us home. But, what if…

What if you sat on your porch and a man with a long, white robe and long, flowing hair approached you? Would you know instantly everything you learned and read was correct about Jesus? What if He came to your steps and said, “Are you ready?”

Would you think… is my bed made? Am I dressed appropriately? Is my home in order and bills paid? Is the laundry piled high by the bathroom sink? Is your house tidy or in complete disarray, just like your life? Would you tell Jesus, “let me get my wallet and cellphone?”

I wonder how many people will have the strength to follow Him? I’m sure some who claim to be of great faith, will fall flat on their face, kneel in forgiveness, and try to repent of their sins. But, it will be too late for those actions are to happen in this life. When Christ arrives for you, there will not be another chance or a rain check. Some will answer the calling, and some will miss the opportunity.

It will be a sad situation, especially when it involves those closest to us. For example, good Christians raise their children in the House of the Lord. But, as those generations turn into adults, they seek other means of comfort. Such vices include the drug scene, alcohol, sexual promiscuity, atheism, and crime. If God were to return today, we would never see our children again. It is taught that if we do everything possible to train our kids to have a strong spiritual nature, they will eventually return to their roots. Children are a gift from God, and He demands parents to raise them according to His laws. Teach them well so they, too, will walk from the porch with the Lord.

Our Father has given us everything in life, yet asked nothing in return except to honor Him. So, I wonder about the smug hypocrites who use the church to hide from their sin and faults. Will their unconscionable mind realize the wrongness of their logic? God is just and kind, but the Bible reveals hypocrites will also be severely judged at the end of time:

The condition of your home, or how well you are dressed will be gone forever when the Lord arrives at the sound of a trumpet. His appearance will be shocking and scary for those less prepared to face Him. I contemplate the unfolding events of our stand before His throne. If we bow and offer excuses for our sin, will God raise His right hand and say, “NO MORE! Begone!” Or will He whip out His “Book of Life” and start reciting all of our mistakes? The Bible reveals the answer:

I don’t have a clue if Christ will come through the clouds or arrive on your doorstep, but I can only emphasize this – don’t wait to prepare for His second coming! Start today by asking forgiveness of your sins, and never return to those wicked ways. Serve your fellowman in His holy name. Turn away from evil, and praise His name. Guide yourself and family to the heavens above so you all may be richly rewarded at the end of time. Every day you wait, is one less day you have to get things right before God.

As for me… I’m prepared and waiting on His return, covered in the blood of Christ.

If We Only Understood

I rarely dream, but when I do, it is about something in my conscious thoughts. The aspiration I will share with you comes with a great message.

“Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.”  Acts 20:28

I dreamed, recently, my wife and I was driving through a neighborhood on a brief sight-seeing tour of a town. She stopped the car as we noticed a church called Humbled Ministries. The billboard outside the church flashed a recognizable pastor’s name – it was someone I longed to meet. It piqued my curiosity, even though I detest ministers who advertise religion as if they are running for a political office.

Like so many other famous clergymen, he is so unobtainable when the public reaches out to him. But I thought, wow! I can finally write this off my bucket list. I climbed about six or seven steps and cracked open one of the heavy double doors. For such a large church, it had a small vestibule! Another set of double doors led into a tiny sanctuary. I didn’t understand the complexity of having such scaled-down amenities in an enormous complex.

I stood in the doorway and could literally count the number of parishioner’s heads. It confused me! Why would this church, in the middle of nowhere, and partially filled with poor, working-class people have a prominent named evangelist on their marquee? I stood quietly in the doorway, waiting for his grand entrance to the pulpit. A pastor, instead, was reading scriptures from the Book of Luke.

So, where was this all-powerful minister I was dying to meet? Suddenly a telecaster flashed the famous face in living color. My inner thoughts were best not spoken in church. I found myself in another dead-end altercation, much like meeting the wizard who lived in the land of Oz.

As I woke from the dream, my thoughts gathered a list of renowned clergymen, only seen on TV or the internet who oddly title themselves “men of Christ.” You know who I mean, don’t you? They wear their $600 suits on camera and speak the Lord’s messages. Regular outsiders can never reach them because customer service staff filters the calls and emails. They are much too busy to talk to those who need guidance. Doesn’t this tell you a lot about who they truly are and what is more important to them? Money!

“Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long; they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues;  they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others. “But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers.” Matthew 23: 5-8

When Jesus walked upon the earth, His integrity and personal touch WAS His message to the world. He blessed the poor, healed the sick, and scorned the rich who believed in their idolatry of money. He made little of His contacts in religious settings. Jesus asked most of the questions in conversations because it was His way of connecting with people’s thoughts and feelings.

Today, we can turn on the television and see the fancy attire of ministers parading behind a pulpit. They make millions from their shows and books, yet they are unreachable because they are categorized a “personality.” Is this really how Jesus views them? It’s no wonder many Christians walk away from sanctuaries!

If we only understood, it would sadden Jesus, today, by the clergymen who claim themselves a “personality.” Ordained ministers bear the privilege and responsibility of being servants and leaders in the ministry of the Church. The keyword here is servants. Yes, these famous pastors I speak of today are spiritual leaders, but are they servants? Are they sustaining the community of the faithful? No, they do not, unless it’s accompanied by a hefty paycheck. It’s an incredible disgrace to the Church!

I find it strange we lost the very essence of God’s intentions. I can only pray for those who’ve lost their way and are searching for the only gift they cannot find – a good steward to give them advice and peace. The gift from God is the joining of hands in prayer and leading the believer to worship through personal contact. Communication will set the integrity in relationships between the clergy and members in society – not a television screen. Oh, if we only understood… the mockery!

Fallen From Grace

God placed before me an obstacle course of challenges to navigate last week. Two individuals felt it imperative to attack my Christian beliefs. As we observe in the world today, many people have fallen from grace while they adhere to the trending fads of social justice. Though I could have tweeted and emailed rhetorical answers, I go forth in the light of God, and write this message. I welcome a good challenge, though, for they are not aware of my history with the Lord.

I investigated a word that rattled in my brain, for there must be some form of justice in my chain of events. It occurred to me God is not just a god of love, but He is “just” – morally right and fair.

Two kinds of justice should be the most concerning for Christians: social and biblical. Much of present-day humanity confuse biblical justice when applying it to our current laws – social justice. So, let me give you some prominent examples.

BIBLICAL JUSTICE

God created all humans equal in His image and the blessing to be treated with fairness and justice. But, from the beginning of the Bible, mankind rejected God’s principles. Paul, the Apostle, warned of this blight. Biblical justice is only what is right in the sight of the Lord – not man’s laws.

“God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” Ecclesiastes 3:17

Biblical justice occurs when we see people as God sees them. This spiritual freedom causes us to fully embrace the cause of Christ by joining the community and reconciling others to the Lord. We should not to participate in something for just our own benefit, but for the glory of God.

He calls us to confront evil and to care for the vulnerable, however many people back away from this for fear of losing their life. So, thirty-five million people live in slavery, of some form around the world, because there is no one to save them from the horror. Injustice is rampant, and very few take action to protect the innocent. The news recently broadcast the story of a seventy-seven-year-old man beaten and robbed for a couple of hundred dollars. Did any Christian come forward to help him? Christ’s followers are to “do justice” because Christ came proclaiming justice. It is He giving a voice to the voiceless!

“Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.” Psalm 82:3

SOCIAL JUSTICE

In matters of social justice, we become entrenched in who wronged whom, and who wronged whom first, in an undertone of anger. It spreads division and destruction, as is evident within our current U.S. government. Social division becomes based on the judgment of everyone who does not see things “our way.” The distinction Jesus taught was never about skin color, religious, ethnic, or cultural affiliations or political positions. Condemnation of people blind us to the forgiveness Christ offers us as sinners.

Also, consider this… how many social media lovers refuse to discuss religion with others? Why? Is it the fear of social injustice invoking us to hide underneath the covers? Let’s drop our apprehensions and model Christ’s truth and grace.

Social justice will never represent the law of God passed down by Moses. It is unrighteous and dehumanizing, and the moment we accept it as a way of life, we have fallen from grace.

CAN A CHRISTIAN DO GOOD IN A SOCIAL JUSTICE SYSTEM?

My answer is, “absolutely!” Upholding our dignity and biblical justice laws, we can become activists for the unborn, the elderly, marriage and family, and religious freedom. It’s not a glamorous feat, but it will quiet and humble the expression of biblical Christian justice.

May we all go out into the world with the spirit of our Lord! Be an inspiration for those who have fallen from grace. Your endeavors will be greatly rewarded!

The Evil Insanity of Gender Identity, Part Three: Legitimizing Lunacy and Dissolving Sexuality

LGBT, Gender Identity

In part one of this series, we explored how the children who are pushed into ‘transitioning’ from one sex to another are exploited and victimized. Part two was a glimpse at the damage done to society overall by the ‘trans-rights’ movement.

As this aberrant movement has grown in influence in society, the push to legitimize ‘trans-rights’ has rapidly moved beyond cultural acceptance and now reaches to acquire the federal status of law. As noted in this journal, the first stage of the process is already finished with the passage of HR-5 in the U.S. House of Representatives.

The bill was sent on to the Senate in May of this year, where it now sits in the Judiciary Committee and no further action has been taken. No hearings or debates or votes have yet taken place.

Making Lunacy a Legitimate “Right”

Inset.1.11.17.2019The goal of the ‘trans-rights’ community is not the social acceptance of their cause. As important as this is, it is merely one step toward the goal.

The real goal is to make the cause socially ascendant so that ‘transgenderism’s’  claim as some sort of ‘civil right’ is both culturally and legally established. For the Left, whether that conforms to scientific or moral norms is irrelevant to accomplishing that end.

In the previous parts of this series, we have observed how ‘trans-rights’ advocacy and claims have asserted themselves in the areas of family court, women’s sports, and public education. Regulations and the law have been used to promote ‘transgenderism’ as a civil right in each of these areas.

However, since this movement isn’t scientifically or morally correct, the Left’s favorite new social activists, ‘trans-rights’ proponents, began their legal maneuvering by taking aim at the language. Thus was born the epic redefinition of gender as expressed in pronouns.

The Left decided that no longer should anyone be allowed to use the designation “he” or “she” to speak to or about someone who claimed they were ‘transitioning’ from one sex to another. This materialized at a national level in Canada in 2016.

One of the most infamous defiers of this Canadian law is Dr. Jordan Peterson. He has decided that he will not comply with a law that requires him to state what is untrue as if it were true.

In an article about Canada’s Federal Bill C16, Peterson writes that as a part of a video series,

I also indicated my refusal to apply what are now known as “preferred” pronouns to people who do not fit easily into traditional gender categories (although I am willing to call someone “he” or “she” in accordance with their manner of self-presentation).

Inset.2.11.17.2019He also goes on to point out in 2016, that such legal lunacy was already beginning a legislative creep into America.

If you are wondering, reasonably, why any of this might be relevant to Americans, you might note that legislation very similar to Bill C-16 has already been passed in New York City.  Authorities there now fine citizens up to $250,000 for the novel crime of “mis-gendering” — referring to people by any words other than their pronouns of choice (including newly constructed words such as zie/hir, ey/em/eir and co).

Other cities and states have been following suit with enacting ‘misgendering’ legislation. In one example from October of 2017, the California legislature passed, and the Governor signed into law,

SB 219 …was introduced by state senator Scott Weiner (D-San Francisco) and sponsored by Equality California. It penalizes senior healthcare workers who “misgender” any patients identifying as transgender by failing to address the patient by their preferred gender pronouns. Any employees who “willfully or repeatedly violate” SB 219 could be charged with a misdemeanor and subject to punishment of a $1000 fine, or even up to one year in jail.

The battlefront of labor law has not been neglected by ‘trans-rights’ advocates in America. Recently, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission decided to embrace the ‘gender identity’ movement.

the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) interpreted Title VII Sex Discrimination to include the transgender population, and this radically changes employment. …the EEOC believes that a transgender woman should be allowed to use the common women’s restroom, and when not allowed, this is considered disparate treatment. Intentional misgendering or misuse of a transgender employee’s new pronoun or name could also be considered sex discrimination.

Since the language has to change on the pronoun level, it follows that public facilities must also change their designations, i.e. ‘men’s’ or ‘women’s’ restrooms or locker rooms, to reflect the official policy of lunacy in action. It is ironic that should these efforts prove successful, the end result will be the insane dissolution of human sexual nature forever.

Human Sexual Identity Is Dissolved by Gender ‘Fluidity’

30224839423_cf6a9317cd_w

Gender Identity Map with over 100 different divisions

The main premise of the Left’s ‘trans-rights’ crowd is the notion that gender is twofold. First, gender is not a biological designation, it is merely a “social construct” that can and should be ignored.

Second is the belief that gender is somehow ‘fluid’ in nature. That is, gender is not simply male or female but rather exists in a range between these two and can move like a fluid from one pole to another, or settle anywhere in between.

Therefore, when a person is born, their sexual identity is not identified, it is “assigned” and need not be that person’s ‘actual’ identity. In fact, that is what motivates other legislation such as Oregon’s law that one’s designation on a driver’s license or state identification or birth certificate can be marked “x” in place of “m” or “f”.

This legal option is not limited to Oregon alone. Other states with similar laws include California, Washington, Maine, Minnesota, Arkansas, Colorado, Maryland, and Massachusetts, with New Hampshire, Hawaii and, Pennsylvania set to enact such measures in 2020.

What seems to go unrecognized is the logical implication of accepting the ‘trans-rights’ claim upon the people that designate themselves as LGBT rights proponents. For if the ‘gender is fluid’ thesis is accepted, all of human sexuality is called into question.

The ‘binary’ nature of human sexual identity is antithetical to transgenderism, as has already been noted. That being so, any claim that only males are gay, or that only a female could be a lesbian, or even that anyone could be bisexual is rendered null and void.

The claim of the ‘transgendered’ person that gender is fluid means that one might claim they are a gay man today, but tomorrow claim that they are instead a “male lesbian.” In other words, if gender fluidity is real it must always be fluid which means that gender identity can never be settled.

Inset.4.11.17.2019Incidentally, the concept of someone being a “male lesbian” is a real thing and was written about a long time ago in psychology circles. A Montana State University professor who is now retired defined a “male lesbian” in 1987 as,

a heterosexual man who wishes that he had been born a woman, but who (even if he had been a woman) could only make love to another woman and never to a man. Unlike the transsexual, the “male lesbian” does not feel himself to be “a woman trapped inside the body of a man”.

It cannot be that gender fluidity is a temporary reality for anyone if the ‘trans-rights’ advocates are correct. That would mean that ‘gender identity’ is a choice, or a preference, rather than a fact of existence.

This also contradicts the long-held claim by gay-rights activists that homosexuality is not a preference but an inherent condition and thus not able to be changed. If transgender ideas are accepted, one could be a lesbian, a gay male, and perhaps even bisexual within mere moments depending on one’s mindset at the time.

The absurdity of this concept should be apparent but is it less absurd than the idea that “male lesbians” are a real thing? The evil of the ‘gender identity’ offensive is the attempt to force insanity upon everyone who doesn’t believe the lunacy.

‘Gender fluidity’ only dissolves all other categories of gender to create a chaotic mass of madness. That is the logical result of allowing disturbed and irrational minds to determine truth and reality, and it must be shown for the danger that it poses to our children, our society, and to our freedom to speak out and oppose its destructive delusion.

You felt secure in your wickedness; you said, “No one sees me”; your wisdom and your knowledge led you astray, and you said in your heart, “I am, and there is no one besides me.” But evil shall come upon you, which you will not know how to charm away; disaster shall fall upon you, for which you will not be able to atone; and ruin shall come upon you suddenly, of which you know nothing. Isaiah 47:10-11 [ESV]

The Rant of Racism

The origin of racism is a fact many are clueless about because it did not start in the city streets of any town. In my opinion, racism should be best described as similar to chickenpox – a thing of the past. I spent my entire life listening to this language of division. It was not math but hatred which divided humanity. Six decades later, I wonder what, if anything, have we learned about the division of people? The consensus says “nothing,” and in fact, we may be reversed in our knowledge.

I ask you, friends, what would you do if Jesus reappeared in your church on a Sunday morning or in your living room in the darkness of an evening? Is your soul cleansed, or is it consumed with bitterness for the differences in people? I spoke to my educated neighbor on the porch one day and asked her why descendants of color (such as herself) relate themselves as African Americans? She could only reply with, “That is how they like to be identified in society today.”

Dark-skinned people are no more African than I am German! Our descendants have nothing to do with the parentage who are born and raised in the United States. Racism, a word derived in the days of slavery, should have been abolished with the civil war. Jesus was of orient descent. He was not white, so I wonder, what was His take on the division of humanity?

I start the rant of racism with the church for this is where the word racism all began – shocking, isn’t it? In the first century AD, churches divided the Jews and Gentiles. The apostle Paul addressed the problem head on:

“There is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him.” Romans 10:12

Moving ahead two thousand years later, and in the United States, the church began racism once again – the ‘blacks’ sit upstairs, and the ‘whites’ enjoy the service below. Are you kidding me? The House of the Lord actually provoked prejudices? It makes sense to me why so many believers and non-believers think religion is filled with hypocrites. God is about unity, not separation! One day, as Jesus speaks of in the Bible, a totalitarian church will be built, and churches will fall under God’s guidelines – not their own rules. Christ will be our ultimate Pastor, who shall lead us not into temptation, which is where we are headed now.

I was in a McDonald’s in Hong Kong, many years back, and no one would take my order. People of other religions stepped in front of me as if I wasn’t standing there trying to get food. I know how it feels to be at a disadvantage. It’s incredibly sad the ignorance which rears its ugly head in the world!

I am blessed to go to work today, in a place where I am a small minority. My co-workers are like my family. So how do we make it work? Though everyone comes from different backgrounds, we have one thing in common – we believe in Jesus Christ. Reverence reassures our quality of life. We work in unison to protect our covenant of faith in God.

Let us work together as one under Jesus Christ!

It’s the love of God I rant about today. Why do we go against His cautions and make ourselves divided? Our evil thoughts and slang verbiage for differences among people aren’t uttered in God’s house. It’s only in the profound gutters of dirt and filth which lies in a littered mind. We are not any better now than two thousand years ago. Can’t we at least respect all of God’s children?

Far beyond the wars of separation, let us come together in peace and bear the love of God. It is there you shall be cleansed.

“I solemnly command you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus and the highest angels to obey these instructions without taking sides or showing favoritism to anyone.” 1 Timothy 5:21
