I feel sorry for presidents

I feel sorry for presidents;
Their job has become very hard;
Many of them are responsible;
Many also are just helpless;
The population is difficult;
I try not to, but I can’t help
Seeing a very poor future
for humanity.
Don’t aspire to be a president;
You will be looking for trouble.
Better nowadays to follow
Than to lead;
Tell me how you see the post of president.

I have a vision
of the United States of Planet Earth.

I have a vision

Talking America First Is A Good Idea

Michel Montecrossa says about his New-Topical-Song ‘Talking America First Is A Good Idea’:
“At the time when I wrote my New-Topical-Song ‘Talking America First Is A Good Idea’ Donald Trump became the President of the USA. With this election it is up to the people of the USA and their president Donald Trump to give to the slogan ’America First’ its true meaning as a first step to World Unity, as a moment of reflection on humanity and the world’s need for peace, sharing and giving. ’America First’ is a good idea if it means a moment of gathering strength to evolve the USA into a considerate and compassionate nation of wisdom and joy that is truly capable of building a better tomorrow of Love, Peace and Freedom for all the world. I hope that the future of the USA is not the future of Americanism, but a future of safety, prosperity and peace for all nations which is responsibly protected by the USA as the most powerful nation on present earth.“

Song Lyrics

Talking America First Is A Good Idea

“America First!” is a good idea
if it’s the first step to World Unity,
the Unity of the Americas,
of Europe and Eurasia
and the first step of building
the United States of Planet Earth.

“America First!” is a good idea
if it’s a moment of reflection on humanity,
on the world’s need for peace,
sharing and giving
and looking forward to
the United States of Planet Earth, you know.

“America First!” is a good idea
if it means a country of warmth and generosity,
of safety, prosperity and peace
as the first step of building
the United States of Planet Earth.

“America First!” is a good idea
if it don’t mean violence,
if it don’t mean hatred and oppression
but a better tomorrow
of love, peace and freedom for all the world.

“America First!” is a good idea
if it means a country of wisdom and joy,
a country that’s considerate and compassionate
and on the way to building
the United States of Planet Earth.

“America First!” is a good idea
if it’s a moment of reflection on humanity,
on the world’s need for peace,
sharing and giving
and bringing nearer
the United States of Planet Earth, you know.

The new US President

The US has a new President;
The man many said would never be president,
Has become the president;
The man many criticized and condemned,
Has become the president;
The man many said was not qualified to be president,
Has become the president;
The man who said he would be president,
Has become the president;
The man who said Donald Trump would be president
Has become the president;
The man many thought should be stopped,
Has become the new president;
The man many tried to stop,
Has become the new president;
Who does this not inspire?

America, listen to Abraham Lincoln

It is time for America to listen to Abraham Lincoln. To compromise the truth is to work against justice and peace. Without truth there can be no justice; and without justice, there can be no peace.

The current election in the US calls on Americans to pay attention to the call of Abraham Lincoln, the man whom someone has described as ‘the incomparable Abraham Lincoln.” This man left for humanity a treasure of speeches and writings, many of which point to the right direction for us to follow in order to realize our God-determined destiny as individuals and as nations.

One writer has described him as a man who was gentle but whose “gentleness was combined with a terrific toughness, an iron strength.”

Abraham Lincoln has taught us to “stand with anybody that is right. Stand with him while he is right and part with him when he goes wrong.” This means we must stand for honesty and truth.

To stand with anyone who is right and part with them when they go wrong calls for fortitude of heart and mind. This is not, in anyway, advocating for the dumping of our friends each time they make a mistake, but the refusal to support anything wrong even if it comes from a friend or loved one.

It is rather unfortunate that often we allow friendship, tribalism, self-interest, fear and other unhealthy considerations to close of our eyes and mouths to wrongs even when we are fully aware of them. This is intellectual dishonesty.

We cannot sacrifice truth on the altar of personal gain. When getting rich, rising in position, gaining personal power, swimming in luxury, and trampling on others become our top priorities, dishonesty, deceit, and trickery are bound to become our weapons; and the truth suffers under the tyranny of lies.

It cannot be over-emphasized that a life built on lies has a sandy foundation that is doomed to crumble with time. It is the life that is built on truth that stands on a solid foundation; and will remain strong and unshakeable against all winds and storms however harsh and fierce they may be.

We are all called and challenged to be the champions of truth. Abraham Lincoln said it, we must “stand with anybody that stands right, stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.”

This is the time for America to listen to Abraham Lincoln.

Presidential debates tonight….

This is the first election year since I was 18 that I have no idea who to vote for. I am also very concerned about my country, The United States.

I am generally more conservatives in my views, but have not joined any major political party. Years ago I joined the Patriot Party, intent on voting for Ross Perot. Other than that, I have no party allegiance. I am a child of the Reagan Era, but still look carefully at all the candidates each year when voting time rolls around.

I love some of the things the Democrats have put into place, such as Obamacare. I know many don’t like it, and it is certainly a job killer….many places only hire part time so they don’t have to pay health insurance.However, if you are on the fringes of the poverty line, which we are since 2008, we could not afford healthcare without it…my son has heart disease and we Need It….so I am definitely worried about it being repealed should a Republican be voted in.

For several years, I read and studied everything I could about Hillary. I was a Huge Fan. Until Benghazi, and the email scandals, and her Family Foundation and the donors….then I thought back to the Savings and Loan disaster in earlier times and her friend killing himself, and so many scandals….I began to second guess myself.

I am a student of history and know that our government is corrupt. It was meant to “move slow” and Not Get Things Done…..

There are so many areas that need overhauling…..Education, tax reforms, immigration policies, the way our veterans are treated….the list is endless. I hate to see the Military diminished and not have the equipment they need…(I am for a strong military, coming from a military family)…..

Then I look at the Republican nominee and I wonder how in the world was he nominated? Can he really do what he says? Is he good for America or an impostor?

Then I begin to think, “Can’t they come up with Anyone else to vote for?”…..

I will watch the debates tonight but I am not really doing it for any other reason than entertainment…..Isn’t that sad?

So confused….

Radical candidate

The Republican candidate in the White House race this year, Donald Trump is a radical candidate. He has radical ideas. His platform is radical.

Some Americans subscribe to this platform; but many Americans do not seem to buy it. It does not square with the values on which the American nation was founded.

I have followed reactions around the world and many people do not appreciate Mr. Trump’s radical views. Many think that if he became president the world would become more unsafe right on day one.

America is generally seen as the leader of the world; and many expect her to  go for bridge-building among people and nations not walls- building.

The path Mr Trump has taken is one that will make the US not only to be distrusted, but hated and isolated in the world.

A lot of those who are watching the unfolding of today’s business in the United Sates at a distance are comforted by the fact that many high level personalities in Mr. Trump’s party have distanced themselves from his campaign. This is reassuring; and an indication that this leader of the free world is still ready and able to assume leadership in advancing the values which the world most needs.

Mr. Trump’s rival, Hillary Clinton has opted for a moderate approach; and it is very evident that the majority of right thinking Americans are on board her train.

Daily prompt: Radical.

America’s first king or first female President?

America may soon have her first king;
Or first female president;
By the end of the day on November 8, 2016,
The world will know if the US will have
A president or a king;
Whatever the outcome of the elections,
History shall be made;
The US shall either have
The first female President,
Or the first King;
Who knows what I am talking about?
And what do you think the world will be
If the US becomes a kingdom?

Every thing America is or is not?

1. Is Mr. Trump everything America is
Or everything America is not?
Or none of the two?

2. choose the one that goes with you:
Mr. Trump make Americans:
. Proud
. Ashamed
. Embarrassed,
. Confused
. None of these.

3. Mr. Trump will make:
>A great president;
>A mediocre president;
>A mediocre president;
>A loving president;
>None of these;
