Treasure Island

You are my treasure island;
My silver and gold;
My everything;
You put smiles on my face;
What would I be
Without you?
You are my oxygen;
The source of my strength;
If you leave me,
You impoverish me;
Being with me
You empower me;
You energize me.
You enrich me,
You are my treasure island.

Letter to the rich

Dear rich people of the world,
Tell me how you got your riches;
Did you earn them honestly?
Or you acquired them dishonestly?
If you earned them honestly,
That is good;
You have a right to enjoy
The sweat of your brow.
If you earned them
In the dark,
What a shame!
Riches are good,
When not earned through
Dirty hands.
Ill-gotten wealth is bad;
And ends up destroying its author.
Be rich if you can;
But know how you get
Your riches;
Feed not fat on the poor;
And in opulence swim,
While they like flies perish
In abject poverty.

Smart people make quick money and become rich while foolish people become poor

Greedy people want to become rich quick. They jump on every opportunity they find. But beware! Don’t be stupid! Otherwise you may instead become poor quick. It’s easy. Look at what happened to a whole village. The people wanted to be rich. Read their story:

Monkey business.
A lot of monkeys lived near a village.๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

One day a merchant came to the village to buy these monkeys!๐Ÿต๐Ÿต๐Ÿต๐Ÿต๐Ÿต

He announced that he will buy the monkeys @ $100 each. ๐Ÿต๐Ÿ’ต

The villagers thought that this man is mad.๐Ÿ˜‡

They thought how can somebody buy stray monkeys at $100 each?๐Ÿค”

Still, some people caught some monkeys and gave it to this merchant and he gave $100 for each monkey.

This news spread like wildfire and people caught monkeys and sold it to the merchant.๐Ÿ˜ฌ

After a few days, the merchant announced that he will buy monkeys @ 200 each. ๐Ÿต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต

The lazy villagers also ran around to catch the remaining monkeys!๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

They sold the remaining monkeys @ 200 each.๐Ÿ˜‹

Then the merchant announced that he will buy monkeys @ 500 each!
๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต

The villagers start to lose sleep! … They caught six or seven monkeys, which was all that was left and got 500 each.๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿต๐Ÿต๐Ÿต๐Ÿต๐Ÿต๐Ÿ’

The villagers were waiting anxiously for the next announcement.๐Ÿ™„

Then the merchant announced that he is going home for a week. And when he returns, he will buy monkeys @ 1000 each!๐Ÿต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ต

He asked his employee to take care of the monkeys he bought. He was alone taking care of all the monkeys in a cage.๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

The merchant went home.๐Ÿ˜Ž

The villagers were very sad as there were no more monkeys left for them to sell it at $1000 each.โ˜น๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜“

Then the employee told them that he will sell some monkeys @ 700 each secretly. ๐Ÿ˜ถ

This news spread like fire. Since the merchant buys monkey @ 1000 each, there is a 300 profit for each monkey.๐Ÿ˜ฌ

The next day, villagers made a queue near the monkey cage.๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿต๐Ÿ’๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘

The employee sold all the monkeys at 700 each. The rich bought monkeys in big lots. The poor borrowed money from money lenders and also bought monkeys!

The villagers took care of their monkeys & waited for the merchant to return. ๐Ÿ˜•

But nobody came! …๐Ÿ˜ค Then they ran to the employee…๐Ÿค

But he has already left too !๐Ÿ˜‰

The villagers then realised that they have bought the useless stray monkeys @ 700 each and unable to sell them! ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ.

This is the story of bitcoin and other similar wonder banks as well as other greedy ways of acquiring wealth.

Watch out for the next monkey ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™Š business

It will make a lot of people bankrupt and a few people filthy rich in this monkey business. ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜…

That’ how it works๐Ÿคฃ

Be honest (Be inspired today 318 by Ngobesing Suh Romanus)

Do not be dishonest;
Do not go for dishonest riches;
Be honest;
The bible warns against
Riches dishonestly earned;
Do not take bribe;
You will land
Not only yourself,
But also your family
Into trouble;
It is better to be poor
But honest,
Than to be rich
And dishonest;
If you get a good position
By playing a foul game,
That position will bring you
More sorrow than joy;
Do not raise your children
With stolen money;
Or money you get
By cheating someone;
You cannot do that
And claim to be a success;
Neither can your children
See light.
Of all policies,
It is well known
Or everyone should know
Honesty is the best policy;
Therefore, be honest.

Who does not like riches?(Be inspired today 44 by Ngobesing Suh Romanus)

Who does not like riches?
Who does not like to be rich?
Who does not like to have
A lot of money?
Make a mad man rich
And see what he does
With his riches;
Every normal person
Likes to be rich;
But you are not rich;
True or false?
You like to be rich
But you are not rich.

If you want to be rich (Solidarity BloGgerS ForUM No 36 by Ngobesing Suh Romanus)

If you are interested in becoming rich, let me refer you to a post, I found on manifesting riches that stroke a chord in me. It is titled Manifesting Money: this could be why it’s not working for you. The author, Louis Keller, very beautifully introduces us to the book Becoming Rich by Genevieve Davis who has a completely different approach to how to become rich. I couldn’t agree more with the points Keller advances in her post. It’s a post worth reading if you are interested in becoming rich.

Her blog is titled From surviving to thriving. You will find many articles on this site that can help you on your journey to riches.

Quote ( rags to riches)

“Having read lots of rags-to-riches stories, having seen people rise from nothing to great heights, my conclusion is anybody who desires to, regardless of the background, can rise to unimagined heights. It only requires that the person learns what it takes and does it. And when I say anybody, of course, I include you.” (Romilia Quotes)

Clean or dirty Money?

I want to be rich;
A rich tycoon;
Who doesn’t want to?
But what I hear
About riches boggles
My mind,
It is mind blowing;
Does it confound you toon?
Do all rich people
Play foul games
To amass their wealth?
Aren’t there
Clean rich people?
Tell me true or false;
Does one have to be crooked
To be rich?
If one must play foul games
To become rich,
Is it worth the while?
That’s dirty money!
What can dirty money give one?
I want to be rich;
But not through dirty money.
I want to get clean money;
To have clean hands with riches;
Not dirty hands with dirty money;
Let me be rich;
But let me have clean riches.
Clean not dirty money.
